Toby loves this

At age 12 my dog was diagnosed with compromised kidneys and I switched to a renal appropriate diet. After a lot of research I started adding green tripe to his meals to ensure a good source of nutrients and something he would love to eat. Toby loves this and a year later we are still going strong with no deterioration in his kidney condition.

Super food

This product is very, very rich. I bought it for an elder that is very picky about eating to help her eat. It works but, she can't have much. My other elder can't handle it at all, it's too rich for him. A younger dog would do well. The lamb protein tripett worked better for my elders.

Guar Gum not good

Get rid of the Guar gum and it would be perfect … Figure out a different agent to keep it together .. I gave it a try and I looked up what it was and how safe it was for dogs while mine were eating it and I decided to not give them anymore .. It’s as bad as carrageenan..Can cause gastric distress and inflammation .. Could also cause blockages in excessive amounts , which I don’t know what that amount would be so I’m just going to stay clear of it..

My dog loves it.

My niece recommended this food, she gives to her 5 dogs. She's a Vet tech and manages a health food store for dogs and cats so I trust what she tells me. My dog ate the whole can. The smell isn't bad. I've tried other brands where I had to feed my previous dogs outside.

Great food for picky eater

My 4 Saint Bernards LOVE LOVE this. They do not like anything else. Smells horrible, but so good for our dogs. Tripe is the best and cheapest food for our pets and keeps them so healthy. They love it so much.

Damaged cans

All but 1 of the 12 cans of this food were heavily dented. Also, this food smells horrible. Our dogs liked it but I’m not sure it’s worth putting up with the smell.
