Tripett Original Formula is a grain-free product consisting of nearly 100% Green Beef Tripe. Green tripe is the unbleached, nutrient rich stomach lining of a grass-fed animal containing essential fatty acids and digestive juices important for your pet’s health. This Original Formula is known for it’s exceptionally high content of green beef tripe, and mixes nicely with dry and raw food. Good for all breeds and all sizes. Tripett. Feed well.
This grain and gluten-free, limited ingredient food is crafted from only 4 ingredients. It's prefect for pets that have sensitivities or allergies to common foods.
Beef tripe helps restore balance to your pet's stomach and improves digestion. It's a great choice for any life stage including growing puppies.
Helps to promote cleaner teeth, a healthy, lustrous skin and coat, and can help put a spring back in your elderly dog's step.
A great option for those picky eaters who get bored easily. It introduces a new protein to your pup's diet and helps switch things up. It's also great for transitioning to a new food.

Tripe is a great supplement in any dog's diet, and it keeps my girls from eating grass and having stomach issues. Regardless of the brand, be warned that tripe is very, very smelly. This will stink more than other canned food, but that's the nature of tripe! My dogs are not keen on eating tripe alone, but they don't notice when it is mixed into their usual concoction of food. If your dog is having stomach issues, I strongly recommend adding pureed pumpkin and tripe!
However, when ordering this brand of tripe, the majority of cans came dented. Thankfully, nothing was punctured (which would of left a horrible mess), but some cans were very close to breaking. However, when ordering this brand of tripe, the majority of cans came dented. Thankfully, nothing was punctured (which would of left a horrible mess), but some cans were very close to breaking. I was hoping for better, because I was happy to see this flavor did not include carrageenan, but I will not order again due to all the dents. And it should be noted that no other brand of canned foods I have ever ordered from Chewy's has been dented before, and in the same order I had perfectly intact cans from two separate brands.… more
Large amounts of gel globs throughout
on Jul 15, 2018
The ingredients on Chewy’s site at the time of this review list carrageenan as an ingredient however the cans I received have guar gum listed on the label instead (for those concerned about feeding carrageenan). My dog loves tripe and eats this just as happy as any other green Tripe (fresh or can). The amount of gel in this food is perplexing. Huge chunks of gel as big as 2”as well as smaller globs throughout the food. It’s off putting & I don’t feel good about feeding it to him so try to remove as much as I can. Until the recipe is changed I won’t be reordering and will try K9 canned tripe instead which does not list any fillers. Exactly what I want
My dog is eating again

After a week of measuring my dogs intake by spoonfuls I added this to her food. She was just diagnosed with pancreatitis and pre-kidney failure and ulcers. Supplementing with Tripett has been a total game changer and by baby is eating heartily for the first time in a very long time. I mix it with her prescription diet and then a third meal with cooked ground chicken and she loves it. She has been getting thin so hope to get some weight back on her soon! I'll definitely be adding this to my monthly order.

I had been feeding this for awhile and all my dogs stayed super healthy on it beautiful coats and teeth. My dads cat got sick and I told him to give this to her and she cleared right up and now won't stop bugging him every morning until she gets her tripe!! My dad is a believer too!!!
Great Product for Kidney Problems
on Jul 16, 2018
My little dog has kidney problems and Tripe is low Phosphorus. The beef or lamb or beef & venison tripe are all good. Sometimes he will not eat but other times he cleans his dish. I purchase the small cans so it is freshly opened and mix it with KiwiPeak canned.
Dogs Love It!

I have 3 dogs and one is a very picky Husky. I tried everything from raw to cooked foods...She always like foods at first but then stops eating. Now I been buying high quality dry food and add this as a topper and she hasn't stopped eating. She also eats it up quicker then how she usually eats. This is also excellent to hide medication, joint pills etc... I also like the all the benefits...and it is affordable because I only use a little as a topper so one can will last 2 days.
Bear loves it.

Our dog Bear just loves the tripe. He plows through it when added to his kibble. Save at least dollar a can by ordering through Chewy!
Dogs LOVE this

I was having a difficult time finding fresh green tripe, ordered this in the meantime. My dogs love it - especially my picky eater.
Pricey for what you get.
on Jan 4, 2018
My red nose pitbull likes this product okay as a dry food topper. He likes cooked ground beef better when offered side-by-side next to this food. For the same price per ounce of this green tripe, I can buy ground beef from the grocery store. Any probiotic benefit from canned beef tripe is killed off by the canning process. Still, this food is convenient and it keeps dogs' diet from getting too boring.
Not the same as the other
on Jun 13, 2018
Not the same as solid gold. My dog won’t eat it. Now I have a case of, it minus 1, that I don’t know what to do with.
