all 3 feeder broke after 1 year
I purchased 3 of these after a year of working fine, product stopped dispensing in all 3. Checked timers (since we had recently lost power) everything was still all still set. I could sometimes hear motor trying to engage but the dispenser would not rotate. I emptied cleaned all parts I could access. Then contacted Petlibro customer service and after repeated emails, they only explaining how timers work, which is not my issue. My issue was the dispensing wheel not rotating at all. I got frustrated as they were not addressing my problem and threw the 3 feeders away. I love these feeders but if they only last a year and customer service can not helping; it is not worth the investment.
Automatic feeder
So far it’s working well. It takes a little getting use to on programming. I still have to refer to the directions when changing times or adding feeding. The exact amount of food it a little tricky too. The directions could probably explain the amount of feed better than it does. So been playing around with this. My cat is about 12 lbs and about p-3 to p-5 is the right amount but wish it gave exact figures like 1/4 cup . Overall it’s ok. I like the recording part and the battery backup. Worth The Effort
It takes a little patience to figure out the programming but it is worth it. Feeder works at programmed times and distributes approximately the correct number of kibble (give or take one) each time.
