This pet feeder is WiFi-enabled, so you can use the PETLIBRO LITE app to program and monitor your kitty’s meals from anywhere. Set a feeding plan and schedule feeding times, then check the feeding logs to make sure your cat eats on that set schedule. You can schedule up to 10 meals per day with 1–50 portions per meal so your kitty gets the paw-fect amount every time. Can this be used for wet cat food?

The feeder is suitable for dry food ONLY, with kibble size ranging from 2-15mm / 0.07-0.6 inch in diameter. Larger kibble may get stuck at the food outlet.

Can it work for larger dogs?

This would be more suited for small or medium pets.

What is the maximum number of times can food come out per meal?

Up to 50 portions per meal.

How much volume is in each portion?

Each portion is about 20ml/10g ≈ 1/12 cup

How many cups does it dispense a day?

1 portion is 0.08 cup. 50 servings(4 cups) a meal, and up to 6 meals each day. Total is 24 cups.

How long will the desiccant bag work?

It is recommended to change the desiccant bag every 15 days to prevent mold growth.

Can portions be different for different times of feeding?

Yes. Each feeding can be a different portion size.

Can cat shake the feeder to get more food out?

The dispenser used in our product is fully enclosed, which can effectively avoid the problem of shaking and falling food.

**Can it run on battery power only without the power plug, or is the battery only for backup in case the power goes out?

To avoid sudden power outage and the feeding of your pet is affected, do not use the batteries as the only source to power the feeder, the batteries can only be used as an emergency plan. When feeder is powered only by batteries, the WiFi function, record button and reset button would be disabled to extend the working time, the meal schedules will be carried out normally.

Will the feeder keep dispensing if there's food left over in the bowl?

The feeder will keep dispensing according to the meal schedules you set if there is food left over in the bowl. But if there is too much food in the bowl, it may block the food outlet. Then the feeder will stop dispensing and send a notification "Outlet is blocked" to you via the APP.

Does the automatic feeder adjust to time zones? Or is this done through the app?

This feeder will work based on the time zone of the location where it was initially set up, regardless if you travel to a different time zone.

I’ve had this feeder for 3 months now. Worst automatic feeder I’ve ever had. Waste of money if you actually want to check on your fur babies. It is always offline needing to be reconnected. Every time you have to reconnect you have to reprogram the feeder to your meals. If you using this feeder when you go on vacation, get a better one so you know your cats are getting fed.

Difficult set up vs faulty device

Not sure if I got a faulty unit or if I’m just not tech savvy enough to set it up. I tried everything under the sun to get it to work but it just would not connect. Sadly have to return. Was looking forward to having such a fancy feeder!

LOVE this autofeeder!

I have another brand auto feeder with a camera, but this one is so much better! The app works great, it was pretty easy to set up (3 different ways to connect), the feeder dispenses the correct amount of food each time, keeps a log, records video, and has a two way speaker. The camera is aimed down so you can see your pet and part of the bowl with food in it. My other feeder shows the room and the top of the cats head when they are not actually eating.
