Still getting the hang of it, but it seems to work

By Sloane on Oct 19, 2021

My test run with this out of the box was successful, the device came charged so I was able to try it right away. It’s not absolutely silent, but it’s a fairly inoffensive noice, sort of a high pitched whirring sound. My dog was unfazed by the noise, but I don’t have experience with another mail grinder My test run with this out of the box was successful, the device came charged so I was able to try it right away. My dog was unfazed by the noise, but I don’t have experience with another mail grinder to make any comparison to as far as sound and her reactivity go. The guard is a little awkward to work with, but I’m currently attributing that to lack of experience with the tool, as I’ve never used a nail grinder before with any of my pets. There’s kind of a smell of burnt hair when i grind her nails, but I’m assuming that’s her nails and not the device, as it doesn’t produce odor otherwise. Despite the smell, her nails don’t seem to get hot terribly fast, and she was very tolerant of me working on a couple of her nails. The wireless feature is nice, and the switch to turn it on and off is easy to find and to operate. No complaints so far, I’m looking forward to leaving the old dog nail clippers to rot in a drawer. … more

    Not for my cat

Despite reading good reviews from other cat owners having no issues with doing their cats nails, our young cat does not like this thing. He's not usually phased by anything. In fact, he's the first cat we've owned that isn't afraid of the vacuum cleaner. However, he hates this thing. Works good.

I have large dogs and have always used manual nail trimmers. Because of the size of their nails, it was getting difficult to cut them. This nail grinder allows the nail to be shaped. It is quiet, lightweight and easy to maneuver around the nail.

    Still working on it

This thing is great just still trying to get him to not be scared of the noise it makes. It works well when I am able to get close enough to do anything.

    Nice design but not effective

Doesn’t seem to shorten the nail , just polished it. Could be because my dog wouldn’t let me keep it on the nail

    Seems to work fine

    By on

When I take my dog to the pet store to get her nails trimmed, she’s fine. But when I try to do it, even with the PerLibro, she’ll have no part of it. Not sure I’ll be using it. I’ll try a couple more times, maybe she’ll get used to it.

    Waste of Time and Money

    By on

Won’t power on after charging. Took over 10 days for delivery as it shipped directly from the manufacturer instead of from Chewy.

    Quiet & quick

    By on

quiet buzz, didn't scare the dogs as I had worried it would. they are usually reluctant to let me trim or file their nails, but let me quickly grind all their nails.
