The machine only works with dry food.

As a WIFI product, it has high power consumption and low battery life when used alone (the battery can be tried for about 3 days). When the battery power is low, the feeding schedule and wifi connection may be unstable and very easy to have abnormalities.

Used to love it

This feeder was great for our cat Apollo for two years but it has since lost it's reliability. It dispenses the dry kibble in inconsist amounts and I can no longer be confident in how much he is actually getting, sometimes it's too little and other times too much. I'm back to using a measuring cup & bowl for now until I replace this with something else.

Excellent

This didn't start off very well because of a server issue and not being able to create an account but once that was fixed all went well and the feeder is awesome. Be careful buying a feeder that is controlled by wifi. Make sure you purchase a 5G wifi capable feeder.

Great, but wish it indicated when it's empty

This is a great product, it can fit about a months worth of my cats food, being able to schedule when and how much food it dispenses is exactly what I wanted. The only down side I found is that it gives not indication or alert when it runs out of food, leaving my cat to try to desperately convey that he has not been fed. Otherwise it's fantastic!

It has flaws

The only problem is the tray does not stay attached very well. I come home and the tray has been moved out from under and the food is everywhere. Also, my cat has learned to push the button. It needs an off switch.

Love this!

Love this unit. We are super active people and a lot of times find ourselves out when it is feeding time. Our cat is NOT happy about having his dinner or breakfast delayed, and this has been a life saver. I just open the app and click a button to feed him, no matter where I am (or can pre schedule it to do it automatically). I recorded my voice calling him and you should see him FLY to it, the minute my voice calls him to come eat. The ONLY thing I wish this had was an alert when it was out of food or close to being out of food. I have to look in the bin regularly to check on it.

Great this

Love this device. I had to leave for an over night trip and was worried about my cat Callie. I can only feed her a little bit at a time so I couldn't just fill a bowl full of food for her. This worked perfectly as I could portion out her food throughout the day just by using the app on my phone.

Bad connection

The feeder is good except for this connection. Cat food scraps will always leak in this gap, some will also slide to the bottom of the bowl. Always have to clean these, quite troublesome.
