The machine only works with dry food.

How many pounds of dry cat food can it hold?

This Automatic Cat Feeder can hold 4 liters of dry food, it is suitable for cats and small to medium dogs. You can even feed rabbits, squirrels, guinea pigs or birds.

Will this feeder work with larger kibble sizes?

The grain size applicable to our products is 2-10mm / 0.07-0.4in in diameter, and please fill it with dry pet food only.

Be sure to connect the power supply for using, the battery as an emergency power. As a WIFI product, it has high power consumption and low battery life when used alone (the battery can be tried for about 3 days). When the battery power is low, the feeding schedule and wifi connection may be unstable and very easy to have abnormalities.

The portion size can be customized within the set limits. This feeder has 1 portion of the food of 1/20 cup (12.5 milliliters, 1/2 - 1 3/4 cup) and can set up 1-9 portions for each meal.

Wifi ability is a joke

I have 25 years in IT and it took me over an hour to make this work. Issue 1. Wifi password can only be numbers and letters. Basically this violates basic cyber hygiene for any network. Issue 2, wifi password limited to 12 characters. Between issues 1 and 2, you have 2 options if you have anything resembling a somewhat secure wireless network; dumb down your home wifi (really bad idea) or set up a separate network for this and any other IoT devices. The latter is a good idea but not common knowledge for most home users. End result, it works but save yourself the headache and buy something else.

Used to love it

This feeder was great for our cat Apollo for two years but it has since lost it's reliability. It dispenses the dry kibble in inconsist amounts and I can no longer be confident in how much he is actually getting, sometimes it's too little and other times too much. I'm back to using a measuring cup & bowl for now until I replace this with something else.
