My cat is obcessed with this toy!
I have a brown Tabby who fetches like a dog. He LOVES these caterpillars! I throw them down the stairs, he zooms down to get it and brings it back to lay it at my feet. So much fun for him!
Old Mans Favorite
Our toothless rescue loves the crinkle sounds they make and, because he only has one tooth, they are soft on his gums and easy to pack around the house. The long hairs shed easy so watch out for them to not swallow. The orange is his favorite because it's easiest to see with his one eye. They wash easy too since one of the other cats like to put them in the water fountain, washing them doesn't affect the crinkly stuff inside.
Hit and MIss
They are a great size (think eclair) and super intriguing to my cat. However, the AMOUnt of hair attached to them sticks in his mouth and he developed an aversion to the two hairy ones. The other is great, has a good texture for biting, and just the right amount of crinkle. I hide these under my desk for him at night and he likes pulling them out and leaving them outside my door. I think he gets a lot of satisfaction, I just wish they were a bit higher quality (the hair falls off, and they tear easily), and maybe less hairy :) However, this may be perfect for some cat’s preferences.
No catnip scent
Hi so my cat never even sniffed at these. I was so disappointed. Sometimes he does go at a catnip toy a day or so later. But these supposedly crinkly and irresistible things? Nada. Crickets.
Can't have too many
My Levi has more toys than I can count but his orange "carrot pillar" as we call it is his carry around, throw in the air favorite. So much so that when we saw these we had to get 2 extra sets just in case. It has a slight crinkle sound and even though it was a "hand me down" from his older siblings it is still in good shape. He loves the size and feel.
They didn't care for it at all
Both my cats really love bug like toys so I purchased this for them but they didn't even care for any of it. I think the cat nip in this toy isn't as strong as other cat nip toy brands.
Great fluffy toy
I got these because my cat's favorite rat toy is dying but discontinued (so I couldn't buy her a new one). These have been a huge hit and are *almost* as loved as the rat.
My cat LOVES these "catterpitters"
My Cheeto is in love with these toys. He will play fetch with them. They go everywhere with him. He brings them to bed and to eat. They are a great toy!
Kitties love these
These are simple toys that my cats love. One kitty carries one around in his mouth all the time ! So cute. They bat them around like tiny footballs and just love them. I like to always have a few extra on hand .
Bought this initially for the 'crinkle' part. Its not super crinkly, but it didn't end up mattering. Our cat is in LOVE with these caterpillars. They seem to be the perfect size and texture. He carries it around the house all day and brings it to us. We call it his 'baby' and he knows exactly what we mean. Have repurchased and will do so again to have extra, as he is alittle rough with them so eventually a seam pops. A++
