Wish he would
Got him this to break him of a recent vendetta he has picked against the carpet. Had it a couple of weeks now, has side eyed it but won' t actually attack it. Still trying.
Nice Nail File
I love this scratcher. My mom duct tapes it to the leg of my perch in the living room. Then, I can stretch up, scratch to my heart's content, and my nails are beautifully trimmed.
My cat sniffed, looked, walked away. Has never raised a paw to it. Clearly not interesting to him.
a very poor quality iteration
Had an earlier version, same manufacturer: Double-sided, zip pocket for catnip. each side had its own total perimeter binding, and of much better quality; also handle had through rivet holes (could be replaced or redone). This current version is smaller, too. Unfortunatley this happens so often when repeat buying a product. Perhaps I should have expected it.
Cat hasn't touched it yet. She prefers to continue scratching my dresser to shreds. We tried.
cats love this
We originally got this for our barn kittens to play with while they recovered indoors from their spaying and neutering. After we let the kittens back out, Lo and behold the kittens 2 year old feral Momma decided she loved to play with this toy too. In the 2 years she decided we were her people she never played close to the house until we got this toy! Fully recommend this toy for outside and indoor cats.
Nice hanging scratcher
We put this scratcher on the pantry door where we keep our cat’s food to encourage her to scratch at something other than the wooden doorframe. So far it seems to be working! She enjoys scratching and hanging on it, and seems to use it instead of the door itself. Yay!
Cat hasn’t touched it
I wanted my kitty to like and use this so bad, but he is very unenthusiastic towards this scratcher. I’ve tried spraying it with a catnip spray and also putting dry catnip on it... Nothing! I will say, that it’s nicely made though.... if only my kitty actually liked scratching it
It's okay. She still prefers my furniture. It is as described. I think the toy at the top needs to be more exciting. I have tried tucking other toys behind it that dangle down in front and she likes it better that way.
This seemed like a great idea, but firstly it was ripped when it arrived and secondly my cat does not have much interest and she just sniffs at it but wont' scratch.
