Great durable toy
My two cats love jellyfish/octopus-shaped toys, so this toy is perfect for them! I got two. It turned out they didn't like the sisal rope "tentacles." (Which should have been obvious in retrospect, seeing how neither kitty likes using sisal rope scratchers.) Instead of returning or donating the toys, I decided to do surgery on them. This toy is well made and is so *perfectly* their favorite shape that it was worth the effort. The operation was a success! I removed the sisal rope and "grafted" in old PJ pant drawstrings. The patients both made excellent recoveries and were able to return to work as cat toys. Twiggy and Humphrey love them now! Anyway, the modifications I made were for my cats, not because the toys were bad. My cats are picky and I am ever their humble servant. The original toy is really well made. The ball part is felted wool. The sisal rope strings are thoroughly sewn on. The elastic loop is also sewn in, anchored in the core of the wool ball.

Haven't figured out how to launch the toy. It is not something they immediately loved.

the wool ball is great, the cats love to try to shred it, and the curly bits are fun for them too - not sure the elastic matters, but it's nice to hold and play tug

Amazing Cat Toy!
I was skeptical about buying this at first but thought I’d try it out. OMG my cat loves this toy. It came in a pack of 3 & after 5 days she tore up the first one. I’m glad I have 3 of them. She carries it around in her mouth. She loves playing with the frilly part. Very very happy mom & kitty with this toy!!
Launcher toy
My three cats didn't like it as well as I hoped...
took a few times for them to love it
This was not an immediate favorite but within a week they were enjoying it. My older cat loves toys and he plays with this when no one is here to help him with the bird on a string toy that he really loves. The younger cat now plays with this often rolling all over the front room. I love that it seems to be made of more natural materials than most toys.
