I really love this toy!
Hi my name is midnight, and I am a rescue kitty from a shelter. I am writing this review, because my human mama is busy at the moment, but I wanted to tell my friends at chewy that I really love this toy! I am a spoiled kitten, and have lots of toys, but I have a few favorites and this is one of them. I carry it wherever I go, and I even bring it to my mama to play fetch all the time. Mice and balls are my favorite toys! This one’s especially awesome because it lights up and I love lasers and lights. What else could a kitten want? Catnip, lights, crinkle sounds, and a very long tail! I am a happy kitten. Got to go now, before my mommy catches me with her phone. Meow meow for now!

My cat is about 4 years old. I have purchased multiple toys for him and had minimal success. He absolutely LOVES this toy. I ended up buying another so I didn't have to keep fishing the one out from under the couch. He doesn't even bother with the other toys anymore.
Did they even add catnip or silvervine?
Cute toy, but a dud as far as my crew are concerned. All four of my kitties love catnip, the stronger the better. Not one gave this toy more than a curious sniff. As other reviewers have said, it has a solid plastic head and crinkly plastic in an otherwise flat body. It's almost like they skipped the step where they add the Nip at the factory. Such a pity.
A favorite!
I got this toy about 6 months ago (it disappeared under the couch for a couple) and it’s a favorite of my 9 month old kitten. She has a dozen toys around the house and she always goes for this one. The krinkle body and the tail excite her the most.

I got this toy originally for my 7y/o tabby who loves to play fetch. he has always been very picky about toys & his favorite are these certain cheap crinkle balls that fall apart instantly & are hard to find to replace so I’m constantly looking for a toy to replace them. He was very intrigued at first & loved the glowing eyes - sometimes I would accidentally step on it & he would run over to check it out. He had fun playing fetch with it for a bit but was never his go to. I recently adopted a 5 month tortie who is FULL of energy & she discovered this toy & is completely obsessed with it. The glowing eyes drive her nuts & she loves just running around with the tail in her mouth! Anytime she’s about to cause trouble I throw the thing & she’s distracted for an hour - it’s amazing! It’s such a cute toy & really good quality! I was so bummed my tabby didn’t love it as much as I did but luckily the tortie is absolutely nuts for it! Gotta buy an extra for her just in case!

Great cat toy but be careful with string
My cat loved this toy. Unfortunately, she was having such a great time with it I didn't realize I should have watched her. I turned my back and she bit off the the long tail and ate it. Thank God she pooped it out a day later. I would recommend this toy but I advise pet owners to watch your pet while they play with it!
First impressions
I purchased two of these on clearance. I think I got a steal. The construction is only sure to help them survive playtime. I’m really pleased & consider it money well spent. I have two cats & both were interested with this item initially. One in particular found the flashing eyes curious & I’ve seen her try to gauge them out when playing. Lol She carries the little stuffy from room to room & I find her chewing the head. A winner.

Surprisingly, my cat likes this toy, and like the other reviewers said, she really likes the tail. There's really not much to this toy--other than the eyes light up--so I have no explanation why she plays with it, but she does. Maybe it's the scent (which I can't smell) that attracts her? So it's worth the inexpensive price.
