Does this toy work on carpet?

The Rolling Raccoon works best on hard surfaces. It can be used on the carpet, but it depends on the pile/length of the fibers. It will work better on a firm, tightly woven carpet but not on a longer pile, shag or plush carpet.

Cats Are Not Amused

I agree with another reviewer. I had high hopes for this toy. Neither of my boys were interested, but every cat is different. Maybe a young kitty might like this.

I love it, the cats.. not so much.

I though this mouse toy was a great idea. It has a ball inside of it that lets it glide across the floor (and carpet). Unfortunately, my cats have no interest in it. I think because it’s a little noisy when you roll it. Noises seem to annoy my kitties.Too bad cause it’s a fun toy. Maybe a dog would like it more.

Cute toy but a bit too heavy

This is a reasonably priced cute cat toy but a bit too heavy. My cat enjoy playing with it once in a while but it is not a favorite to use independently. She seems to like the furry tail. The ball bearing, which gives it its weight, does give it great movement on hard surfaces.
