Description

Help scratch-proof your home with the Petlinks Scratch Stop Deterrent Training Cat Spray. This spray is formulated with a botanical blend of naturally-sourced lemon and eucalyptus oils that humans love but kitties just hate. It works by repelling your furry one from scratching your furniture, drapes and carpet. Simply spray where you need it, and your cat will naturally stay away from the area. The formula is safe to use regularly and is clear, so you can use it on most surfaces around the house.

Key Benefits
  • Natural deterrent spray keeps your kitty from scratching your furniture.
  • Works with a natural blend of essential oils, including lemon and eucalyptus oil, that has a smell cats actively avoid.
  • Easy to use—simply spray on any area to keep it scratch-proof with no mess or hassle.
  • Made with all-natural ingredients, so it’s safe to use with pets and environmentally friendly.
  • Formulated with no harsh chemicals or toxins.
Precautions

Do not spray directly on your cat. Before using on wood-finished, painted surfaces, leather or vinyl fabrics, test a small area to prevent any staining. The formula is not intended for use with dogs.

    Is this water with eucalyptus?

By Dentaldecaydoggy on Dec 16, 2020

This arrived and I was hopeful that I had something to keep my bad kitty cat from scratching my furniture, doors, curtains etc to shreds. Boy was I wrong! I soaked several known scratching areas and watched as she walked up to them, sniffed, rubbed against them and began clawing feverishly. It had a nice eucalyptus fragrance. Maybe use as an air freshener?

    Worked for our clawed furries

By Lizzie on Nov 27, 2020

Our cats are couch arm destroyers. We just got new couches, the second they arrived, one cat was straight to the arm preparing to scratch. The spray worked! Also, we have a wall cat scratcher with the sisal rope and the cat tree with the sisal scratchers now, so we do provide good alternatives. Been two weeks and still no scratching. I respray every couple of days. Sofa so good (pun)

    So far so good!

By Shannon on Sep 7, 2020

I have a slightly unique situation where my kitty is good and knows that scratching the door moldings is bad and knows where he is suppose to scratch, but also has anxiety about closed doors and always wants them to be open. Sooo he scratches at the moldings to get attention and to communicate that he wants a door open. I got this spray about a week ago and it seems to work perfectly! At first I only sprayed the area where he’s been scratching the most lately(by the garage door) and he stopped for a day or two. He then moved to the adjacent molding and the door itself so I sprayed those down and he’s completely stopped after crying for a bit and is now cuddling on my lap while I watch tv!

Sounded great, but did not work for Kitty Sapphire.

    By dream15x on Aug 26, 2020

Kitty Sapphire has had litter box issues since I brought her home at 9 wks old from the shelter. I have struggled to keep her from urinating on carpet areas, but sometimes if she can't locate a rug she will urinate on the floor. We just moved to a new studio and the only area with a rug is the front door area and she has christened the area numerous times. I clean one area she finds another dry area so I gave this a try as I have tried other products and I have read kitties don't like citrus scents. I thoroughly sprayed the area and she immediately headed into the 'line of fire'. I think she wanted to get a better whiff and I think she actually liked the scent! So off I go in search of other Kitty Sapphire has had litter box issues since I brought her home at 9 wks old from the shelter. My cat must be an odd one, because this product did not work for me. The spray did not stop her from scratching my recliner chair.

    Doesn't work

By Stevie on Nov 27, 2020

I sprayed this on a new recliner daily for 2 weeks...it hasn't even slowed down the scratching . At least it doesn't smell bad, but is a waste of money.

    Disappointed

By Melly on Nov 24, 2020

I have gotten so much from Chewy, and this is the only thing I've been disappointed with. I literally am in love with all of the other purchases.

My Kitten Still Drawn to the Scent

By StillNeedingADeterrent on Sep 29, 2020

I’ve been spraying this on my drapes and blinds as my kitten is now in a phase of climbing them. I’ve sprayed and right after spraying she will sniff and then continue on her climb. This product is not working as a deterrent. And it gives me a headache.
