There are many reviews for this spray. I decided to order it., not expecting it would do much, but honestly, my Tiggr has stopped clawing on the weather strip at 10:00 p.m. for entry. I just don't think he knows he has Senior parents..:D he wants to play more. Its a good product for me and I recommend trying it.
Just dont work
This product for me at least did not work at all I did exactly what it said to an my cat still continues to do his damage on my nieces cloth shelves very upset
This did not work for us at all. Used it on various surfaces and my cat couldn't care less about it being a deterrent.
Do not purchase
Product doesn't do anything. Have sprayed area multiple times. Doesn't deter cat to stay away waste of money & time. Would not recommend to other cat owners
I read the mixed reviews and want to add my 2 cents. I am SO happy with Scratch Stop. I was horrified when my cat went after my brand new couch. I tried double sticky tape, but she scratched around it. I did two things. I sprayed the couch 3 times a day for a couple of weeks, and I purchased a new scratch pad, which I placed near the couch and sprinkled liberally with cat nip. It took only a week or so for her to stop paying attention to the couch. Now, she has no relationship with it at all and I am SO relieved!
My cats love the smell of this didn't help keep them off anything
Not worth what we spent on this spray, it did not work, he still scratches the furniture and still messing with the Christmas tree. I do not recommend this product
Sadly, it's not deterring them
This might work for others, but it's not yet doing anything to deter my cats. Since I already have the spray, I'll keep trying to see if maybe it builds up some sort of deterrence over time. On the pro side, there is a minimal, inoffensive scent.
Didn't work at all
This product had absolutely no effect whatsoever. My cat's favorite scratching post became the furniture I sprayed this on. If anything, it seems like it actually attracted him rather than repelling him.
Didn’t work on the couches. In fact, it drew my cats in.
