Observe your cat's behavior - cats will have varying responses to Scratch Stop spray and application amount and recurrence vary depending on each cat. Reapply as often as needed.

Cats Don’t care

My cars don’t seem to care if I spray this or not. They look at me like”what’s that.” Then they continue to scratch. Anyone tried something else that works? It does smell good to me though! Lol

Sadly it didn’t work at all on my two male cats

This is a second product tried with no success. Both my two brother cats were not deterred at all by this spay on my carpet, doorway (where the are tearing up my carpet) or my shoes. Didn’t stop them at all. Only short success has been waking up and spraying them with water but they come right back!

I actually bought this for my dad's cat. She was ignoring her scratching post and tearing up the ends of the couch. He used this once on every corner of the couch and she only uses her scratch post now!
