Cat Loves It

Cat immediately took to this scratcher. Clearly loves the different fabrics and the feather toy on top. He hasn't immediately destroyed the topper, but he readily attacks it even when simply walking by to move from one room to another. Assembly was a little harder than I expected, simply because the base is actually two pieces of particle board that arrive folded. You have to figure out how to thread a screw through the bottom and into the top while keeping the two pieces relatively flat and without tipping over the top. Would have been much easier with a second pair of hands.

My little guy LOVES this, and he is picky picky picky. This is sturdy, doesn’t fall over and has the perfect rug/rope combo. They’re all over my house and I don’t have any issues with furniture scratching. They’re not ugly so it honestly doesn’t even stand out.

So many scratching posts are really short but this one is tall enough for my cats to stand up and scratch. My one cat loves to grab the top of it and stretch back. The he attacks the feathers. Definitely going to buy another after my cats destroy this one.

Cat scratcher post

All 5 of my cats love this scratcher. I put it right up against the corner of the couch to prevent them from scratching it, and they love it. The scratcher has carpet material on the upper half just like my couch material, so it's a great substitute. I did have to use a large flat head screwdriver to put it together though, so make sure you have one just in case.

Little wobbly, but my cat isn’t too violent of a scratcher and he scratches with his weight lower to the ground, so it’s not a big deal. It also came in a navy blue color and honestly it looks great in the living room. Cat loves it.

very light base scratcher

This scratcher has a very light base. It almost falls on my cat when she is trying to scratch. My cat is only 7.5 lbs. 3 stars because it has the carpet like scratch part on the top which my cat really likes. She still love it, it just I have to put a weight on the bottom so it won’t fall on my cat.

This looks like good quality in the photos but it is not. We have not had it long and it is already falling apart. Do not recommend buying this item
