Description

Keep your pets safe without creating an eyesore in your living space with the Scalloped Top Foldable Wooden Pet Gate from Petmaker. This tall, free-standing barrier can be used to declare a "no dog zone" in specific areas of your home, like special rooms, hallways or stairwells that your furbaby doesn't belong in. Designed for style, too, it features a handsome arched design and a neutral finish that will blend with any color scheme. Plus, it's lightweight, foldable and easily moved from room-to-room, or stored away when you're not using it. Best of all, there's no installation or drilling required. Simply unfold and voila! This gate is best suited for small- to medium-sized dogs who are trained and may not be suitable for small kittens.

Key Benefits
  • Wood gate allows you to confine pets without the need for installation.
  • Accordion-like folding panels can be expanded or condensed to fit various spaces.
  • Perfect for doorways or wider areas like hallways and entryways with an attractive finish.
  • Folds to three inches for easy storage—simply fold and tuck into a closet or the garage.
  • Freestanding gate doesn't need to be attached to a wall and can block off any area of your home.

trust me -- get this taller gate

    By on

Even if you have small dogs, it's smart to order a taller gate like this one. We originally had gates that were 18/19 inches tall, but when you're in a hurry, it's very tempting to just step over a lower gate -- rather than moving them, as you're supposed to do -- and I promise you, there will be a time that your foot catches on the gate and you will take a nasty fall. Hubby and I are both very fit and agile, yet we both had to get banged up before we finally ditched the low gates and got these ones which are tall enough that no one even tries to step over!

    Cheaply made

    By on

I was not expecting this to be such cheap material for the price paid. Paint is chipped. I will be repainting this item.

    Not worth the money

    By on

This is really flimsy and poorly put together. I took it out of the box and immediately thought is was used. Chipped paint, ill-fitting pieces and not at all sturdy. Really disappointed for the price.

    Poor quality finish

    By on

This pet gate performs as described and does what we need it to. However, the finish is very poor. The wood is rough and the finish was sticky enough when packaged that the folded sections stuck to each other and marred the finish when forced apart.

    Beautiful lightweight gate

    By on

Looks great and Is easy to move - even a small dog can nudge it aside. But it’s perfect for a hallway or corner as a gentle barrier.

Not as long as they make it out.

    By on

This was o.k. Not as wide as I wanted.....does not fully enclose double doors.....about 6 inches left open unless you pull the gate totally straight, but then it will no longer stand up by itself...hence defeating the purpose.

    Looks great.

    By on

I loved this gate when I got it. It had a little crack on it. But chewy was quick to address the issue an ship out a new one. I still decided to use the chiped one for the time being. I have a 18 week old dalmatian pup. Who after knocking over the gate 3 times has managed to break one of thos post. An knocm the edge loose one a panel. I expect gates to get knocked around. Thats why i bought one that looked nice and I thought was durable. It looks great. An if ur dog is well trained not to push on it or jump on it. Then it will work great. For my puppy training not so much.

    Very light and falls down

    By on

For the cost of this gate it is not worth it. By 20 pound dog can bring this gate down in mins. It said it weighed 20 pounds. Maybe in the box but it is light weight and the first time I used it the wind blew it over almost hitting my dog. I went by the top recommendation instead of the cost.
