    Works great

We had this one for our other dog but the puppy chewed it up. Tried others not nearly as good at removing the hair. Both dogs (boxers) seem to the the feel of the one better. Good quality

Good, but probably better for longer hair

    By on

My Rott really liked it when I used this on her, but all her hair that she sheds is the undercoat and the top hair is too stiff for this glove to be super useful. I think it would be better for dogs with longer/softer hair.

    The Ascent of BRUSHIE

    By on

Xena loves being brushed. Like, REALLY loves it. I'm pretty sure she would kill a man to get brushed. You'd think an 11-pound cat couldn't kill a man, but my professional recommendation is that you do not test that theory. She has a longstanding relationship with the traditional soft-bristled cat brush, but she also has a longstanding relationship with all of my coats and bags and I'm a LITTLE tired of wearing cat hair wherever I go. That brush was brave, but Xena is extraordinarily hairy. I can't blame it for coming up short. Enter FurBuster 3-in-1. She was skeptical at first, but the novelty attracted her. I love the rubber bristles for de-shedding her a bit, and the soft side for giving Xena loves being brushed. Like, REALLY loves it. I'm pretty sure she would kill a man to get brushed. Worked okay

    By on

I read that for mastiffs these are the best types of brushes.... it did loosen the hair really well, but like another review, it did make a mess on the floor instead of catching most of the hair. It didnt work any better than just petting her. I'll still use it because she really enjoyed it. Haven't tried it on my rottie with longer hair yet.

    not so good

    By on

this does not really collect hair and the hair it does collect is a pain to clean off the glove, cant really use it for scratching itchy spots and using it for the bath i really didnt like cause if you use it on the head its hard to not get soap in the dos eyes. the onlyreason i gave it two stars is it is gentle so if your dog has a skin condition this might actually work well.

Pretty Good For Cats As Well

    By on

I use it on my 2 cats. One of my cats has thick hair and sheds a lot and it picked up her hair with no problem. Yes it's true, you can't simply peel the hair off the glove but all I did was wet my hand and rubbed the hair right off the glove on both sides. Any leftover hair I used a lint roller to get it off. And no, my cats do not like to be combed much so there is always a lot of complaining from both no matter what I use. Fits comfortable on my hand and the strap holds it in place. I'm right handed but since the glove has no holes for fingers, it should work just fine for left handed people.

Worked for a short haired dog, messier than I expected

    By on

I am not sure if it was a lack of common sense or just my dog's hair type, but I expected that most of the hair would end up in the brush and not all over the floor. I have a Jack Russell who sheds like crazy and is terrified of brushes, so a glove brush was the perfect solution for us. The first time I used it, I was disappointed with how little hair there was in the brush bristles. I just assumed that it was not working well because of my dog's short hair. It was not until after I finished brushing him that I noticed a pile (and I mean PILE) of short hairs all over the floor. Literally a two foot radius blanket covering of small, thin hairs was all over my tile. I would recommend this for dogs with longer, thicker hair that can actually catch on the bristles. This was good for preventing future shedding because it seemed to pull out loose hairs from underneath his top layer of fur. It didn't do much however for all of the thin loose hairs that were already on top of his fur. … more
