I'm not sure why there are low star ratings on this product, but I decided to try it after searching through all the options here on the site. This is AMAZING. It's super simple to wash, it fits different sized cans, and it keeps the food nice and fresh! I have no problems using it. We feed our cat the adult 7+ savory chicken and savory turkey wet food from Hills Science Diet, and it fits the cans perfectly. We can put it in the refrigerator and take it out, and the cap doesn't have any issues coming off or going back on the can. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase! … more

Can't get lid off cans

The size is right, it fits my cats' small cans of food and has rings for larger sizes. Maybe this problem is unique to the smallest setting, but the plastic is too rigid and won't bend enough to pry off the lid of the can without difficulty. Great Canned Food Lid

I love this lid as it fits all sizes and is easy to pull off a can with the ears. My hands aren't getting any younger. I also appreciate the ability to hang. I was going to buy another, but it doesn't appear to be in right now!

Not just for cats!

We have lids for our standard cans of cat food, but bought a case of dog food that had smaller diameter cans! What to do? We tried messy (and non-environmental and costly) plastic wrap, press-n-seal, and foil. Then went searching for another lid. This one is amazing, seals tightly on the cat food and the dog food, washes easily, and the dog doesn't even care that it has a kitty picture on it! Great purchase!

Too hard to open

This was way too hard to get off of the can. Going on is easy but the plastic is so stiff it's nearly impossible to remove. I am older and have arthritis so I wouldn't recommend it to any other old cat ladies like me.

Cute but Impractical

Poorly design, functionally useless. Too difficult to get on or off the can. Even after weeks of trying to loosen the lids up enough to seal and unseal easily, the can cover remain too stiff to be useful -- or even safe given how much we have to struggle to remove it from the can. My last attempt to remove the can cover required pliers.

I was s bit worried that the fact it works for three sizes of can would mean that it wouldn't fit as well, but it gives a good seal and is not hard to take on and off. We have only used it on a regular dog food can. Happy with the purchase.
