Petmate Large Cat Litter Pan With Rim, Color Varies

I had some doubts when the product arrived because it was a bit smaller than the litter pan my cat was accustomed to using, but the transition was immediate and the cat likes it just fine. And the best part is that it fixed the problem of unintentional wizzes over the side. I use it with large Petmate Drawstring Hi-Back Litter Pan Liners for easy clean up (optional). I had no problem with the top locking to the bottom as some other customers reported.

I got the bottem pan delivered but never got the lid top. I had purchased this cause of the high walls. (My cats like to play dig in their box.) Seems like a pointless purchase when i didnt get the attachment I wanted to begin with.

Very disappointed. Lid between top and pan leaked cuz it wasn’t tight and mine had no clips to hold it in place. There was a ridge and tight corners that made it very hard to clean. After 2 weeks it went in trash.

My cat did not like it. He's too used to the no sides litter box. It would be perfect as a box for a new cat. A friend is thinking of getting a young cat, so I may just give her the box.

I have 2 large cats (14# & 22#) and was looking for a larger box, this was actually smaller than the 2 i have now.

The plastic edges on the top part look like they were hand-carved with a knife. The clips on the side work okay - you have to push them under the bottom part one by one as they won't clip in if you press from the top. There were weird dirt or dust marks all over but wiping it down fixed this. Overall it works but I think it could have been nicer quality.

two of four cats send at least half the litter onto the surrounding floor area every time they use traditional short-sided litter boxes. Although these are a little small, I also bought two of these and two larger ones and all four are being used daily, so I guess the cats don't mind. Has cut my cleanup time tremendously.

I have two pretty large cats (Ragdolls). They tend to get litter everywhere but with this Petmate litter pan with rim, it keeps the litter contained! Now if I could just keep it off their paws as they came out!
