By Gidget on Mar 2, 2021 Top 500 Contributor
I got crate but puppy( 3lbs) doesn’t like it. It must be too big for the size of dog.so I got smallest size kennel which pink one.she love kennel as she must feel it like burrow however The pink one is bit too small for stand up and move around .So I got one size bigger one .put lot of cushion and blanket.now she love it. Sleeps all night long. I use small one for carry and big size one for crate propose.its really convenient that open top.

Perfect for a Hurricane
By KatH on Feb 14, 2021
After having to evacuate twice for hurricanes in 2020, I felt so bad for having to pack my cat in her old mesh carrier that’s normally for short trips and vet appointments. So I decided, once we had mail service again, that I’m buying her a new, spacious and comfortable carrier where she has room to move and sleep peacefully. She loves to just relax in it, especially since it gives her an escape from her nosy dog siblings. Fit for a queen, perfect for a hurricane.

Petmate Two Door Top Load Dog & Cat Kennel
By vixen on Feb 22, 2021
I already own one of these kennels, and it has worked out very well. I have many cats, and I think the top load feature has made it so much easier for me to put them inside. Also, I am not exactly mechanically inclined, and it was fairly easy for even me to put this kennel together. It's a great choice for any small to medium sized animal.

Great Kennel!
By Milena on Jan 16, 2021
I was in need of a new kennel for my 8 month old kitten, Pipsqueak - who could barely fit into the one that was provided for us anymore, when Pip was 3 months. Pip now weighs 12 lbs and needed a kennel he could comfortably fit in. The kennel was also super easy to put together which was a plus. Still waiting for when I need to transfer him to the vet in it as the plastic handle is slightly worrisome. Otherwise he loves sleeping in it when he’s ready to take naps and can stand comfortably in it.

Easy Kennel for cats
By Midnigtwolf on Jan 24, 2021
I have 3 cats and only had two of these kennel, because I had an old one that wasn't have a top load. After 8 years of not using the old kennel and having to make two trips to the vet for shots, I decided another top loader was needed. They are so much easier to get cats in and out.

Love this!
By ShihTzuMom on Dec 19, 2020
I bought this kennel for my Shih Tzu and he still uses it! (He goes in it on his own too) It’s extremely durable and it was very easy and fast to assemble. I had ordered a wire kennel too and I took it down because my dog prefers this kennel so much more! I even used it for the first few months when he was a puppy to bring him to my dog sitters and it was really easy to carry with the handle, and the top latch is AWESOME when they won’t go all the way in right away, or on their own.

Very nice carrier!
By FosterMom on Jan 11, 2021
I purchased two of these carriers. They are very sturdy & the top-load door makes it easy so much easier to either put one of my cats in or take him out at the vet. I also foster kittens. The top door makes it easy to check on the bottle babies, or, again, put them in or take them out.

Secure carrier
By Betz on Jan 4, 2021
I much prefer these nut & bolt closures to the snaps. The door is kept closed and does not pull open with the weight of the pet inside because the posts are long enough to not slip out of the matching holes. Much more secure than a lot of carriers currently available.

Top & Front loading , can't beat it for transporting cats
By Chris on Jan 12, 2021
I really like these carriers. Easy to load cats from the top. Easy to wipe clean. I transport many cats and kittens as a foster parent and it meets all my needs. I have two fifteen lb. personal cats and size of carrier works fine.

Easy to assemble!
By CatParent on Nov 18, 2020
Got this to take my cat on a road trip and was debating on getting the smaller size but glad I sized up! My 8 month old kitty has enough room to move around and seems to like sleeping in here. It was easy to assemble and seems secure. Can’t attest to its durability as I haven’t gotten a lot of use out of it yet but it seems just fine for now. Only taking off a star because it’s really awkward to hold with the top handle.
