I feed several friendly semi feral cats who live outdoors. In the winter on below freezing days ceramic or metal feeding dishes get too cold too quickly even though the cats eat quickly. So plastic dishes like these work better outside than dishes made of other materials. The only downside to these dishes is that they tend to stick too tightly together if stacked together as they are when they arrive. They were hard to get apart. Since I know that, if I want to stack them together when not in use, I put a paper towel between them to prevent that from happening. I wanted inexpensive easy to clean dishes. I think it would be hard to beat this price!
I feed some feral cats and these work perfect for feeding them in the winter. using stainless in the winter the food will freeze up faster so using these plastic bowls works great. They are a good size, easy to clean, stack up nice so they don't take up alot of room and they are cheap enough that if a raccoon carts one off I don't worry about it.
Have two of these: one food and one water. Like the little opening to lift or move the dish. Stays put when down. Washes easily. Tapered sides keep food in bowl.
I never buy plastic for my indoor cat but feeding a bunch of TNR kitties requires a lot of dishes. Although I feed most in an enclosed area it still gets really cold here in PA and some eat in outdoor areas. Glass bowls break easily in cold and never give animals metal in the cold, their tongues could stick! I really like that these are dishwasher safe just in case somebody other than one of the cats I know eats from the bowl. Many of the plastic bowls, even more expensive ones, require hand washing. I purchased six and may need more. these are a good value.
The cat bowls are great easy to handle and the cats seem to like them I think they are good because they can't tip them over.
These are flimsier than I expected. I had thought they would be made of thicker plastic. My fault - you get what you pay for.
The bowl is light but strong. Perfect size for my kitty. I use it for her wet food. The particles left are easy to clean out. The bowl is wide so plenty of room for their face to move around to eat.
I got this adorable little feeding dish for my kitty. Tiger loves it. I love the size of it. It's sized just right. You don't choose the color. The color is random.
Cute and stable. Price is right. Next time I won't get plastic.
I bought this for treats and it works fine. It is too light weight for food or water and would be easily over turned.
