Petosan Toothpaste

Dogs like the flavor, does help with their breath, and cleansing of teeth.

Dog likes the Taste if this

She isn't fond of having her teeth brushed but she always licks the end of the tube and does like the flavor.

Cat hates it but, it gets the job done

Tooth paste works slowly but, does work. Tartar and stains are disappearing. But, frankly, the great tooth brushing battle is an activity neither one of us enjoy. Beginning to think paying the vet to do this job would be worth every penny.

Positive Results

I've used alot of dog toothpastes, and none seemed to work any better than another, except for Petosan. To be fair, both dogs recently had their teeth cleaned. The poodle was already exhibiting tartar accumulations with weeks using other products. I started using Petosan and his teeth cleaned right up. My Border Collie's teeth look like she just had a cleaning even after 6 months. I brush using Petosan 3 to 4 times a week. In between I give them periosupport chews or or Oravet. The regiment seems to be working well. Even the poodles breath is way better and that's saying alot. I'm going to continue with Petosan. I really do see positive results.

V effective (and tolerable)

We switched from nightly drops (which may have caused health problems our 8 year old boy is experiencing, PLUS he just hated them) to this toothpaste, which we use with a long handled dog toothbrush. We noticed a difference in his teeth after 2 uses! Glad it is not harmful when swallowed and he may actually like the taste (we never brushed his teeth before this, so the whole thing is new - and frankly, hilarious). Very pleased.
