I think the double headed toothbrush is the way to go for brushing dogs' teeth. This one works fine and the sizing seems to be accurate for my dog. However, every single one I have bought, one side of the brush head eventually breaks off after a while. This broken piece has come off in my dog's mouth while brushing. Luckily I have caught it every time, but it is a choking hazard. Buyer beware!
This toothbrush works much better than previous types that surround the teeth. It fits easily around the teeth of my pointer/spaniel mix. She's a medium dog and the medium size works great.
Smaller than expected but it does work for my Dalmatian. Have used other brands that were bigger. Ordered the medium because I consider him a medium-sized dog. Like the double-headed part because it is hard to get him to cooperate with teeth-brushing.
This tooth brush is constructed with a plastic handle and two brush heads. The heads are very small approx 1/4inch. Will not work for her back teeth. Way too narrow . More for a small dog. I have large lab. The brush I received was medium. I have ordered the regular double long handled brush as it seems to work the best.
One of the best toothbrushes I have ever used on my dogs.
I have an eight month old puppy and the medium size that I ordered is for a small dog. This toothbrush won't fit over most of her teeth.
This brush says it's medium sized, but it's smaller than the Vet's Best triple brush I use on my Chihuahua terrier mix. It would work for her as well, but I was looking for a brush for our fox terrier, whose teeth are way way bigger. It's laughably way too small for him, and I am pretty sure they're considered a small breed, you'd think a medium sized toothbrush would be big enough!
I have to Bostons (17 & 20 lbs) their jaws are shaped differently (brachiocephalic) so regular toothbrushes are too big to reach the back teeth. This toothbrush is small enough but it scrubs all the way around and in less time which my dogs appreciate.
