My coconut oil melted during delivery?
Answer by ChewyOct 14, 2017
Coconut oil has a low melting point of 76 ° Fahrenheit, it's normal for it to turn into a liquid state during shipping and if you live in a hot area. Once the oil reaches a temperature below 76 ° Fahrenheit it will begin to solidify.

If I put some of this in my pups dog food, will it help his itchy skin?
Answer by ChewyMay 11, 2018
If the dog is itching due to dry skin, this product will be beneficial. It's moisturizing properties are highly effective at helping sufferers of dry skin.

Is this product supposed to be solid? I received it and its a solid wax, not liquid.. How do you give it by teaspoon or rub it on skin in this form? Do I have a defective jar?
Answer by ChewyFeb 22, 2019
This product should be stored at room temperature and may have turned solid during transit in cooler weather.

Will this product help with my dogs bald spot? His hair started thinning about a month ago in one spot and it turned into a bald spot. It has not gotten any bigger in the last month but there also hasn’t been any new growth.
Answer by ChewyApr 27, 2019
This can be applied directly to trouble areas like hot spots or added to dog food to promote healthy skin and a shiny coat, however it does not help with hair growth.

Sticky feet

I just had my pine trees trimmed and sap is everywhere. Of course Alfie gets it in his feet. Tried a lot of products but this is the best. My groomer told me to try coconut oil. I rub the oil between his toes and all over his feet. Sometimes it takes more than one try. Only thing is he wants to lick and lick so now after rubbing in the oil I put his sock on his feet no more licking and soft feet.

Great Oil To Use

Its good. My dog likes a little bit of it in her food even when I put it on her body, she tried many of times to lick it off. It's good and smells amazing.

Tropical paradise

With winter months hitting hard, my dogs skin was so flaky and dry. This is the only product that worked. They love being rubbed down and smells great too. Safe and effective. I give this product 5 stars.

Itching gone

My dog has sensitive skin and ears. Had bad, red ears and reddish skin. Vet drugged him and it was improved. Didn’t like his lethargic behavior. Started using coconut oil and redness is gone and no itches. Ears are fine. He looks for his spoonful in his dish every morning . No problems all summer and fall. ,

What the dif between this product and the one in my grocer?

Isn’t this the same as the coconut oil used for cooking?! Aside from this being $17 more. Cuz that’s what I use at home. This product is much exact same thing, just w a prettier label.

2 thumbs up!

This product made an enormous difference for my dog's annual summertime issues with his skin. His condition is common with his breed (pitbull terrier).

Not the same Product

Previous buyers beware. PetPost changed the EDIBLE version to a GROOMING version that says you can still feed it to your dog. They are very different. My dog LOVED the edible version. He HATES the grooming version. The picture on Chewie is still the edible version but the product you get is the grooming! So very disappointed!

Great for Gigi

I should have ordered this before I started with my Gigi's Cytopoint shots. This works wonders. No longer is she going to get those shots --- which is all chemicals..... I apply it to her fur twice a day...No more scratching or licking her paws. Great stuff. Try it......
