Is this too small for my 37 pound Corgi? Has arthritis in his neck and needs elevated food dish. Bear in mind a Corgi has short legs.
Answer by ChewyJan 13, 2018
To determine the correct height for a dog food bowl you will need to measure your standing dog from the floor, beneath the front paws and up to the top of the shoulders. You'll need to then subtract approximately 6 inches from the acquired measurement. Dogs should be able to eat without lowering their necks or stretching them upwards. The top of a dog food bowl at the correct height should sit level with the dog’s lower chest.

How wide across are these bowls? I like them fairly wide so my cats don't get whisker distress. Thank you
Answer by ChewyAug 30, 2018
The bowls measure 6 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches tall.

How many cups of kibble (or water) fit in a single bowl?
Answer by ChewyMay 09, 2019
These bowls can hold 2 cups each.

are these bowls microwave safe?
Answer by ChewyApr 18, 2019
These bowls are microwave and dishwasher safe, however the bowl holder is not.

Great product for my 7.5 lb. dog and 14 lb. cat!

I have a Yorkie-Poo who's been experiencing some trachea collapse issues, as small breeds often do, and my cat has been having vomiting issues when he eats, so I knew it was time to get them some ergonomic support! These bowls had great reviews for small breeds and cats, and both my pets got adjusted to elevated eating/drinking right away. The stand has little rubber clips around the frame so the bowls don't chip or make loud noise when you place them into it. The width is definitely wide enough to help with whisker fatigue. If your cat tends to "play hockey" with its water bowl like mine does, this bowl/stand combo will help break that habit--my cat hasn't tried to bat it around or flip it over! My dog has only eaten one meal from his new bowl/stand so far, but his pace and his breathing while eating were already noticeably improved. I'd definitely recommend this product for small/toy breeds and cats!

Perfect for small breeds

We have a small breed puppy. This set is perfect and will be used even after he becomes an adult dog. The price was very reasonable.

Great drinking aid

I got these raised bowls because my Benji has collapsing trachea & every time he’d drink he’d have a coughing fit. These raised bowls are great. Most times he has no to only mild cough after drinking now

Badly labeled

The web description said the bowls are 12oz. But the package adds the useful 6" diameter. These are for a small dog. I do not have a small dog. These are exactly what I wanted, but half the size I needed. :(

Great item

I like having the bowls up off the floor as they are easier to reach. Bowls have a very nice finish and wash nicely.

I love this bowl. Fixed my problem

I had a problem with my cats throwing up there food. This raised bowl worked very well. For my bigger cat I sat it up on a box & it worked. No more throwing up.

Disappointed

This was a second with the black rim paint leaking into one of the the bowls. We didn't see this immediately because we flipped it over into the dishwasher. The box was destroyed and I felt since it had been cleaned we couldn't return it.
