Not so much
Not so good on slate floors. It actually slipped out from under me & I hit the floor. Don’t know How it’s on carpet . It’s a cute mat and maybe if one double back tape it down? I’ve found another good use though, am using with my rotary cutters in sewing. Works great for that.
It's different
I wasn't expecting for it to be so transparent. I like the writing on the map. The mat is a flimsy plastic. I can see the ground when it's placed down. I would have preferred for the background to be a solid color.
Well made product
It’s one of the cutest mats but it is nice. It is like a cloudy see through and the words are cute. The mat is nice and big and nice thickness. Doesn’t slide on my floor.

these mats are adorable but they have no grip and slide all over, im constantly cleaning up split water. :/

Nice quality, but not non-slip
Mat is nice quality but it definitely does NOT keep a bowl from sliding on it. If you are just worried about your pet spilling food on the floor- this works for that and is easy to clean. If you are trying to get something to keep their food in place so they can eat easier- this is not going to work well.
Not Slip and Slide Proof
I bought about 4 of these for putting under the kiddos food and water bowls. I can say they work fine and are slip proof if they are on the carpet and the thing you put on top of it is an electric pet fountain that's heavy. Now it does not prove to be slip proof when they are put on the kitchen floor and it is only light food bowls, in fact in that case they seem to slide around more.
Perfect for ferrets who splash water
Some ferrets like to snorkel in the water bowl! This protects your hardwood floor or laminate from most of that spillage! It could be a tiny bit bigger but for the most part it's perfect and stylish!
