PetRageous Designs Juneau Insulated Dog Jacket

I bought this jacket for my Toy Australian Shepherd. She was 10 months at the time of purchase in Dec. 2020. Her chest measured 18" and her length was 15". I ordered a medium size thinking she might grow a little more and didn't want the jacket to be too snug. When we received the jacket, it was definitely big in the chest for her so I added a couple more inches of velcro so it would stay fastened. That's the only alteration I have done to the jacket. She wears it frequently as we live in the mountains of Colorado at 9000 ft and most of our morning temps the last 4 weeks have been in the single digits to low teens. She runs in deep snow, jumps, pounces, bounces, chases her frisbee and balls all without even acting like the jacket is on. I like that the jacket is extremely easy to put on and take off. It slips over her head and the straps are attached to a section of fabric that covers her entire chest thus fewer "snowballs" to find all over the house in stocking feet. … more

Thank you so much. I've been looking for months for a coat for my great dane. Its ridiculous what some company's thing of as an XXL size....more like a medium !! Jax is 37"H..36" L..neck 24" and chest 36"....this is the only coat that's come close to fitting him ! He's 10 months old and has more growing to do,which is fine, as this coat will grow with him. Its not tight at all n there's room to spare in all directions....thank-you..thank-you...thank-you

Got this coat for my 39 pound cattle dog mix. I am a vet student attending school in Ithaca (and she came from the south) so a warm, waterproof coat for her was a must!! I really like that this coat has a slit in the front which has allowed me to use her easy-walk harness which clips in the front. I ordered her the magenta coat in size large which is a little long on her but fully covers her back. Overall a high quality find for a low price!

I went with a large and hoped it wouldn't be too big. Thankfully, it fit! Of course, the weather was then nice enough for a few weeks that she didn't need it right away. It's super easy to put on, which is good because my dog is no a fan of having things put on her and she looks adorable in it. It seems to keep her warm on the cold and windy days in northern Illinois so we're still able to get outside for some exercise. The first dog jacket i got for Freya (from Chewy) was fine as it was flannel lined and waterproof. But as it got colder and more windy, she needed something heavier that wouldn't blow up in the back. She's a 75 lb pit and I got the XL. It's a tad long on her back, but it doesn't blow up, even without the elastic leg loops. I like the opening for her collar ring and really like the piece that covers her chest and that the straps velcro across her back. The coat is easy to slide over her head and after her leash is attached, I can put the collar up for more protection. I'm so glad I made this purchase...and it arrived quickly as well.

My dog is a diva and needs a coat when it is super cold. I had another that she would find a way to wiggle out of during our shorts walks (due to weather walks are shorter because mama gets cold). However, this coat rocks. She will let me put it over her and it then looks like a fancy collar and she struts past her brother like the diva she is. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a dog coat - but be sure to measure as I don't think I have a big dog and needed to get her a large.

So I just received this coat for my Great Dane in the mail. It fits perfect. FINALLY, I found a coat that fits my dog. I purchased the XXL for him and its great. Please measure your dog according to the charts provided. It really helps, compared to guessing. Every chart, from every company is different. It seems very well made and I'm sure he will finally enjoy his walks a lot more now, especially with the winter temperatures. Just wish it came in different colors for the size. Very happy!

This coat works pretty well. Pros: repels water, windproof, has somewhat of a hood that shields the head from rain, easy to put on- especially for a puppy who wants to eat her coat, washable, durable. Cons: it isn’t lined and would make a huge difference with warmth if it was- because of this we actually put fleece PJs on our puppy underneath it when it’s super cold out, the material is super scratchy especially for a puppy with soft skin. Decent coat, just wish it was lined with a soft material.

We finally did what we should have done for years and got jackets for our dogs. We have an AfgaDoodle and GoldenDoodle. these jackets fit great! there are straps for the dogs back legs which keeps the jacket on the dog and prevents it from slipping. Also, there is a leash "hole" so the collar can be attached on the top of the neck. The best part is that it's easy to put on. The dog has to get used to putting his head through the hole at the neck, but that wasn't much of a problem. good product and fair price.

I rescue Boston’s in the northeast, these wonderful coats are a life saver for me. Whether it’s a cold rain or blowing snow these cover our dogs from head to tail. The plus for these coats are the chest covering. A lot of dog coats are open under the chest area, our dogs don’t have adequate hair covering and these are just the thing!!! Please keep making them, because for us, these coats are priceless!!!!
