Don't place on hardwood floors!
Rubber backing stuck to the hardwood floor and I haven't been able to remove what was left behind.

Tapestry mat
Very cute! The mat keeps the crumbs and anything that falls out of the dish.
Small - does not lay flat
I have 3 bowls for my cat - water, wet food, dry food. This mat does not accommodate all 3. That isn't too bad, but the curling of the edges is a deal breaker. I haven't tried ironing it, but my other mat lays flat with no problem (even after washing) and is big enough for all 3 bowls.
All-around winner!
This thing is great! Washes easy, cute bright colors, nice texture, and just the right size! I'm trying to teach my cat "On your mat" and it's big enough for him to lay down on. Very visually distinct and the colors seem like they're easy for him to see.
Super Cute Tapestry Mat
This mat is much nicer and brighter than the picture shows. So happy with it! I had originally purchased a silicone mat to place under a water fountain in the bedroom - but it was on top of carpeting and was always covered in lint and cat hair. Since this is cloth with a rubber backing, it looks better and cleans easier. Also, my cat likes it too. She would not step on the silicone mat but she will walk and sit on this mat. A win -win!
Cute. Gets the Job Done
I would buy again. It is a really nice mat and keeps the cat's food flailing off the floor. She's a mess.
Purrrfect!
I have tried a silicon mat previously and didn't care for it. Our kitty gets fed at the end of the laundry room folding table so the dogs can't reach his food. This mat catches any of the little bits of dry or dried formerly wet food that strays due to our messy cat. It is also easy to clean and very cute. I love it!
Cute but not waterproof
I use this underneath my dog's water bowl. I love the design of this mat, but it's not entirely waterproof. After about a year of use, large patches of the backing have peeled off and stuck to my wood floor.

This is a very fine high-quality placemat. I paired it with the fish food bowl on this site. They are perfect together. I could not be more pleased!
