My dog likes the taste and i do spray in her water, however she is afraid of the spray in her mouth. Any good suggestions of other ways to give this to her?
Answer by ChewyApr 18, 2018
For best results it is recommended to spray directly into the pets mouth and add to their water dish. If unable to spray directly into their mouth, the addition to their water will still be helpful.

Everything I see indicates artificial sweeteners are bad for dogs. This contains Stevia. Is Stevia an exception?
Answer by ChewyApr 10, 2019
Stevia is non-toxic to dogs unless given in high concentrations. The amount of stevia in this formula is not detrimental to dogs, cats, horses, or other mammals.

Is this safe for cats as well? My cats and dogs all share the same water bowl so I want to make sure it’s safe for them
Answer by ChewyJun 13, 2018
This water additive is safe for both cats and dogs.

If I have a 4 gallon auto water tank for my 5 dogs to share, how much should I add to the reservoir each fill?
Answer by ChewyAug 25, 2018
There should be about 2-3 sprays per quart. There are 16 quarts in 4 gallons, so the entire reservoir would use around 32-48 sprays. Alternatively, this can also be sprayed directly into your pets' mouths.

Great stuff

I'm so glad I found this product on Chewy. My chihuahua was having an issue with tartar build up and breath odor. She doesn't do well with sedation so I was looking for something that didn't require brushing and prolong dental cleanings. It works as described. So easy to use and no side effects. It has helped her teeth tremendously.

Wont buy again

I would give it 0 stars if I could. I sprayed my sweet boys teeth and an hour later he was vomiting and had diarrhea for the next 3 days. Vet confirmed this product was more than likely the culprit and had to give him antinausea medicine to stop the vomiting. He normally has a stomach of steel so it tells me a lot about the quality of this product.

This dental spray works!

It took about a month of adding this to my Aussie's water to see a difference, but it did remove tarter and whitened his beautiful teeth, and he likes it! Highly recommend.

Heaven Sent

My most wonderful dog Pepper, alias Best Dog in the World, alias Little Miss Fishbreath has now lost her second alias. Couldn't quite believe it could ever happen, let alone as quickly as it did. Great product, unless you like fish breath.

Works to freshen breath

My little dog has horrible breath due to rotten teeth. This works well to help clean her teeth and stop the stench.

Noticeable difference

Started using it after a cleaning for one of our dogs. Her teeth and gums were pretty bad. On the next annual checkups of our 5 pets, the vet was impressed with how good their teeth and gums were. Even our 14 yr old cat. Their breath smells great as well.

Nope nope nope

My cat absolutely recoiled at the scent and taste of this stuff. Wish I could get my money back for this one.

At least dogs and cats are drinking the "treated" water.

I'm using very small amounts since we're just at the beginning of this "treatment" (AND because this old lady's hands have trouble pumping the sprayer), so all I can say is that the spray hasn't been a deterrent since 2 cats and 2 dogs continue to drink the water. I'll increase the amount of spray slowly to get to the recommended amount.

Spray bottle itself doesn’t work well

The spray bottle is very difficult to spray. If that makes sense. It takes both of my hands to give it enough power and then I can’t hold my dog’s jaw, so it really is a pain to use. I’m not sure why it doesn’t work well because it doesn’t seem broken or clogged. It seems to help freshen my dog’s breath but I don’t use it consistently enough to know because of how difficult it is use. I will try to buy another spray bottle, pour some of the solution in there, and then give it a go. I wanted to comment on the spray bottle function because I remembered reading about it when I was purchasing. The company should definitely look into why the spray piece doesn’t work like it should. I recommend this item if you get lucky and get a bottle that works!
