What do litter boxes and bathrooms have in common? They're both best left behind closed doors! The PetSafe 2-Way Locking Cat Door allows you to place your cat's litter box in an unused cabinet or in a closed off room while still giving your pal easy access. The transparent flap lets in plenty of light and has a magnetic closure that keeps it secure , as well as a slide lock that restricts access whenever you'd like.
Interior use only for pets up to 15 lbs
White, high-impact plastic frame comes with a transparent flap with magnetic closure
Easy-to-use slide lock gives you the option to bar access whenever you choose
2-way lock options: opened or locked
Fits interior doors 1" to 2" thick (2.5 cm x 5 cm)
This door is perfect for cat owners that wants to introduce their cat to using a cat door. It's easy for them to push their heads against it without much force and have it swing open. It's very light weight as well which makes the transfer from inside to outside easier on them.
PetSafe 2 way cat door an easy install

Straight forward instructions. You'll need an electric drill and a jigsaw to make it easy. It fits together well and looks neat and clean after installed.
So good I bought another

Originally bought one for our new house so the cats could have an escape in our laundry room. Also decided to put one on our master bedroom door so we could close it without being clawed by indecisive cats and agitating the dog. I cant speak to the installation because I had it done for me but the quality is far better than you expect for the price. My cats took to it immediately after I pushed them through individually (not joking, I only had to do it once and they got it.)
I wish I had done this sooner.

The instructions are amazing. It even comes with a template for drilling holes. It's made well and looks great in the door. I wish I had done this so much sooner.
It works great

This cat door works great! Our cats did figure out how to remove the lock, but it's easy to pop back on.

For the price, this door is a good buy. My cats use it to access the screened in porch, so I don't have to worry about other animals using it. Easy to install. My 15 pound cat does have a little trouble navigating through.
Front half looks great!

Easy! Especially when your significant other does the work! We right now just have 1 side installed because when cutting the front side (the one with the door) the back side was at an angle so it does sit quite right. But the thought is simple enough but he has cleaned up and seated the front before realizing his mistake, so we're on hold for the back but that's in the garage so I don't particularly care! I DO wish that the door had a locking function, something I missed on purchase. Oh well
Good, affordable cat door.

My only complaint is the back of the cat door kept repeatedly falling off because the sticky tape included wasn't strong enough. Hot glue worked well for securing the back side but an ideal new design would include screws going all the way through to the back side.
Love that it locks.

Love that it locks, and happy now that I can keep the porch door closed!!
Perfect little door for our bathroom door
on Aug 22, 2018
We have the cat litters in a bathroom close to our living room area and I didn't want the door open all the time showing the litters in there. We got this door in white and very simple looking, but with the locks, because if we have guest and they don't want the cats comming in, they can lock it or open it. It took some days for the cats to use it but in less than a week it worked. The only problem that we have is that the door is hollow so litter is getting inside that hole. I'm planning to close it with some white duck-tape.
