Great Harness, Better Than the Gentle Leader!
By kyra on Mar 1, 2021
My dog Maxx is a stubborn puller (esp when he sees a squirrel or another dog). Before getting this harness, I’ve tried countless others, including the Gentle Leader that attaches to the front of the body. While that one got the job done, it would leave red irritation under his armpits due to the position of the bottom clip. So, i got this one! I’ve got to say it’s WAYYY better. No irritation, plus it offers a way to clip to the front and back of the harness, which has been handy. No more pulling, either! Would highly recommend for dogs who have a habit of pulling while on a leash. Also, for sizing reference, I got a medium for my 40lb pit bull and it fits perfectly.

Correct size
By Pepper on Mar 3, 2021
I have a mini schnauzer, 11 mos old, that is a "puller". This halter is a bit bulky but has helped alot in walking her. Plus is works well with the car seat belt and has helped her feel secure while traveling. However, I measured her and ordered according to the sizing chart. I ordered a small and it is still big after adjusting to the max. I now have to order an XS and hope that it is not too small.

Turns my dog's fur gray; otherwise pretty good
By DinahtheIllTempered on Jan 7, 2021
I want to like this harness more than I do. I keep using it because it has a buckle on the neck as well as two on the girth, so it's easy to get on and off my long-haired dog while adjusted to fit her pretty well. My main problem with it is that it leaves a gray residue on her fur, which is something I've seen other reviewers complain about as well. The residue also feels funny. The silver-colored plating on the hardware has come off and I think it is the source of the residue. I hope it is not toxic. I like the arrangement of straps, leash-loops, and hardware, as it really is 3-in-1 -- front hook, back hook, and seatbelt. The extra small is a little too small at the largest adjustment and the I want to like this harness more than I do. So there are problems with it but it still ends up being the one we use all the time because of the ease of getting it on and off her. You can see in the pictures the gray stuff on her fur and the copper/brass of the hardware coming through the plating. … more

Best harness we've owned (between 2 dogs, over 15 years)... but check sizing.
By MNmom on Jan 22, 2021
Medium size was a little big on our St.Bernard cross puppy at first (50% StB, 50% Bernedoodle), but she's grown into it (she's now 9 months old and about 80 lbs). This puppy was an EXPERT at slipping out of her harnesses but hasn't been able to do it to this one. Clasps have held up well (they don't release when she's being stubborn-- smells a rabbit or something-- and locks up all her legs and we have to pull her) and the straps are durable (she was able to get her jaw under one when our kids put it on her the wrong way so it was a little loose and she did chew on it, but it's still holding together quite well). It can be a little confusing to figure out which strap goes where when they're Medium size was a little big on our St.Bernard cross puppy at first (50% StB, 50% Bernedoodle), but she's grown into it (she's now 9 months old and about 80 lbs). It can be a little confusing to figure out which strap goes where when they're all unbuckled (3 clasps total = 2 around chest, 1 for neck) but they have little (white) tags labeling the straps so you just have to pay attention (which our kids didn't, hence the improper fit and chewing). The harness definitely runs big, imo, as I wouldn't consider our dog a "medium-sized" dog right now (and we still have room to expand it further) but it's good quality and has held up well so far (been using for 4 months). … more

my girls love it
By Becky on Feb 24, 2021
I got one at a local store, my pup loved it so much I ordered one from Chewy for her momma, he momma wasn't a fan until I tried taking it off. It's hers and she doesn't want it off. Pup is same way, so it needs a good cleaning, so I ordered a second one for the pup so I can wash the orginal, good quality, just wish i could find blue.

Big Chest Approved
By Trey on Feb 16, 2021
Our dog is very lean and muscular and would be classified as a medium sized dog but he has a big chest. We've struggled to find a harness for him that is small enough around his neck area but large enough for his chest. We originally had this in medium but our dog has grown even more and the large fits perfectly. The adjustability and comfort are excellent.

Great adjustable harness
By Ashley on Feb 4, 2021
This harness is a great choice! My dog is very particular about not having things pulled over her head, so it's been hard trying to find a harness that's step in, and reflective, and adjustable enough to fit her well because most standard size harnesses just aren't shaped correctly for her. On this harness, every single point is adjustable other than the control handle part on the back, so I was able to adjust it perfectly for her

This harness is great!
By Rebecca on Jan 20, 2021
I love this harness so far. Our dog is a mini-doodle, she's around 25 pounds but she's pretty long and lanky. We've had problems finding a harness that fits her well and doesn't dig in under her arms. This one is perfect. We ended up with a small (originally ordered a medium that was WAY too big). The material feels really sturdy and it is very easy to get on and off. I rarely use the front clip, but it's nice to have. I love that the loop on the back gives us a handle in case we need to hold our pup for a bit of control while we're doing something.

I love the little labels !!!
By Bari on Mar 1, 2021
I ordered the wrong size, but since my baby isn't half grown, she will grow into the harness. When I opened the harness, I was amazed to find very useful little labels for the chest and girth. These little labels made trying it on her so easy.

Great color, sturdy. Not great for No-pull
By shelby on Jan 18, 2021
I love the color and fit of this harness, and it seems to hold up well (we've used it every day for 6 months, plus hiking). The only problem is the "no-pull" doesn't actually prevent pulling. It may be my dogs body type but the rest of the harness fits perfectly. That particular part is way too loose, and just makes her walk weird without preventing her pulling at all.
