There’s no need to put up with endless barking. The GentleSpray Anti-Bark Collar gently and immediately conditions your dog to stop barking using a harmless burst of spray. The collar uses a microphone to pick up your dog’s bark, which triggers a harmless burst of spray. The spray distracts your dog from whatever he's barking at, letting you redirect your dog's attention. This spray collar is safe for all dogs, including puppies.

My dog is a 15lb shih-tsu mix, rescued from a shelter a little over a year ago. He has severe separation anxiety and will bark, potty inside, and whine whenever he can not see me around the house. Now I'm in an apartment, and my neighbors complained about his barking. He initially whined, and barked once which triggered the the spray go off, and then he stopped. I came back inside and had a happy, tail-wagging, doggo to greet me. I practiced discipline with this by associating me leaving with the collar. Whenever I would get ready to leave, I would hold up the collar so he could see it, put it on him, turn it on, and immediately leave. When I returned, I would greet him and then immediately take the collar off. He began to associate these and now I don't have to use it at all! Great product, and I love Chewy! … more

  • changed my dog!

I have a weizsla who is about to turn 1 years old this week. If you know about this hunting breed they are very energetic, loud! And loooove to bark! I bought this product, because the shock collar didn't even touch him, but a water bottle tends to scare him and stops his negative behavior. I put on the collar on him and he immediately knew what he did wrong and stopped his barking. Now when he sees the collar coming on he knows and sometimes i just leave it on him without turning it on and it still keeps him from barking! When i first got the collar it would spray out of no where to the point where i felt bad because i didn't want him to be uneasy all day...so i called the company and they were I have a weizsla who is about to turn 1 years old this week. Also i put a warranty on it because one day the plastic broke(He's 70lbs strong) when pulling on his walk and i got a new one shipped to my house no cost! I also have another dog who is 12 years old and barks too but the puppy wont follow his lead anymore! I totally recommend it! i gave it 4 stars because his barking hasn't stopped completely (he's a dog they love to bark, its unrealistic). But overall he is much more calm, doesn't bark or intimidate people anymore, and its actually helping his separation anxiety as well! … more

  • Stops the majority of the barking

I have 2 rough collies and they are big time barkers. I am not comfortable using a shock type collar on them, but I thought I would try this. This does the trick. In fact, after a few days of wearing it, I don't even have to turn it on. They just think that they are going to get sprayed if they have it on. I am only giving 4 stars because it does sometimes spray when the dogs are not barking. For example, if my dog shakes his head or scratches at his ear, the collar sprays. That can cause some confusion from a training standpoint.

  • Problem solved

My new rescue was a terrible barker. Tried numerous things to dissuade. This was recommended by friend and it only took the first set of barks and resulting sprays to put an end to it. Will put on collar without the spray even turned on if I'm expecting a barking situation and miracle of miracles...no barking! It is somewhat large and don't know if there is a smaller version for small dogs.

  • Decent product

I have been using this collar for about a week now and for the most part it does a good job. At first my dog would set the collar off just by trotting around the back yard or jumping up on the couch so it was a bit too touchy for me and my dog wasn't understanding what he was doing wrong. We put a piece of tape over the sensor and it has helped tremendously. Now he only sets the collar off if he barks or if he is playing really rough/rowdy. Overall I would recommend this product as I think it has helped him with his barking but would recommend monitoring your dog when the first few times you use it to see how sensitive it is or you risk your dog not understanding what they are doing wrong if I have been using this collar for about a week now and for the most part it does a good job. • Great at first, but it doesn't last long

    By on

I bought it and it worked great for about a month and then it stopped, so I bought a new battery which cost $15.00 and it still did not work again. The entire neighborhood complains about her barking so much that I have to lock her up during the day instead of her having freedom to run as she pleases.

  • Better than the static collars

    By on

So far so good! I tried 2 static rechargeable collars prior to this one but they were not very effective. This one seems to be working. Only thing I do not like is the bulkiness and weight of collar and that it is not rechargeable.

  • Citronella collar

    By on

I adopted a 12 year old dog that barks constantly unless I am right with him, and because I can't completely trust him around my cats (I was told he was good with cats),he's crated at night and off and on throughout some days (which he hates). The Citronella collar was recommended to me as a last resort before he was to be returned to the shelter. The collar worked for one night and now he's back to barking so he'll probably be heading back to the shelter.Depending on your circumstances this collar may or may not work for your dog.

  • Calm and quiet at last!

    By on

We used the collar for about a week and a half along with positive behavior reinforcement and it worked wonders! Our 7 month old kelpie/terrier mix went from terrifying everyone with her aggressive lunging and loud ear-piercing barking to a sweet, trusting quiet girl who everyone wants to meet. She has learned how use soft whines and whimpers to communicate. She is so much more relaxed and even wags her tail when we put it on (although we hardly need to use it anymore). Just make sure you turn it off before your dog plays with their doggy friends. They don't like getting sprayed, too!!

  • Didnt work properly

The one I got will spray sometimes during barkimg and sometimes when it is completely silent. I still use it as a threat to the dog for barking, which seems to work. In a round about way I guess it worked?
