Description

There’s no need to put up with endless barking. The GentleSpray Anti-Bark Collar gently and immediately conditions your dog to stop barking using a harmless burst of spray. The collar uses a microphone to pick up your dog’s bark, which triggers a harmless burst of spray. The spray distracts your dog from whatever he's barking at, letting you redirect your dog's attention. This spray collar is safe for all dogs, including puppies.

  • Works for a Samoyed!

    By on

We are still in the training phase, but at least 10 different times I’ve heard my Samoyed start barking at a dog walking by and then muffle his bark I believe due to the anti-bark collar. I did try to bark at the device and I did not seem to get “sprayed”. Perhaps it’s not an actually spray that is emitted, but just a scent strong enough for a dog to smell. I have refilled it 2 times in the first 2 weeks. I noticed my dog continued to bark so I added more citronella. It is difficult to know when you have added enough citronella. I just stop when it seems like it’s bubbling out of the device instead of going in. • Too Heavy for 8lb Dog

    By on

The collar was too heavy for my 8lb dog. It would spray her whenever she would shake her head and she was especially tempted to shake her head to adjust to the new feeling of the bulky collar and weight. It sprayed her more for shaking her head than for barking. I used it about 3-4 times when we were walking but the weight and getting sprayed for shaking her head caused her muscles to tense and she ended up getting a cramp in her neck and upper front leg. That never happened to her before. I haven't used it since. I think this would be a great product for a bigger dog where the collar could be more snug and the weight of the spray box would not be an issue.

  • Magical mist of quietness

    By on

I have tried the shock collar in past and it makfunctioned, leaving my fur baby traumatized. But, a friend highly recommended this mist collar and it worked immediately upon first bark. My Petey, is pouting some and thinks he’s in trouble, but he’s not barked one time since starting his mist therapy. I do check it daily as battery produces a little warmth at neck and to make sure it’s functioning. I’ve even removed it for several hours to see if he’ll try and bark. He’s a trooper and neighbors are relieved not to hear his piercing, annoying bark

  • Does not work for this corgi

    By on

I got this for my corgi that likes to bark for attention and anytime someone sneezes. While it did initially prevent him from barking for a day or two, he became frustrated with it and paid no attention that it was spraying him after continous barking. The smell is kind of annoying, especially if you have a dog that barks constantly and then it sprays constantly. My dog also developed some type of anger with sprays, so when he had a fungal infection on his paws and we needed to spray medication on it, he ended up being very defiant.

  • Good purchase-it works!!!!

    By on

After many other products, this was our last resort with our little fur baby. She is a barker but since we moved from a house to an apartment, every little noise sets her off. We couldn’t have the continuous barking as we are in close proximity to neighbors who apparently complain. After we put this on her, the very first squirt actually stopped her and put her in panic mode because she couldn’t figure out where it came from. We literally only used the collar 2 times. Great purchase!

  • Works well

    By on

We use it for our hound who barks at everything. She hates being sprayed with the water bottle (its about the only thing she listens to) so the spray action of the collar really gets her attention. Its sensitive though, to where if the other dog barks the collar will go off. So we only use it when that will not be an issue. Easy to use and has worked well for us.

  • Better than expected

    By on

I didn’t think this would work. I tried a “shock” version that my lab would bark right through. I returned it and decided to try this version.... not a peep since. The batteries last a long time as does the spray. 4 stars is due to the fact that I had to replace at 6 months. I do use this daily for training. I may not even need it at this point, but until she is old enough, it will stay on.

  • Works great! So great, don't even need it now!

My dog is a 15lb shih-tsu mix, rescued from a shelter a little over a year ago. He has severe separation anxiety and will bark, potty inside, and whine whenever he can not see me around the house. Now I'm in an apartment, and my neighbors complained about his barking. So, I had to find a safe, harmless alternative... I was NOT about to purchase a shock collar of any kind... So, I search and found this!! I used this collar for about 1-2 months regularly whenever I left. I knew it was working because I would come back and could smell the citronella on his face and my neighbors said he didn't bark!! He initially whined, and barked once which triggered the the spray go off, and then he stopped. I came back inside and had a happy, tail-wagging, doggo to greet me. I practiced discipline with this by associating me leaving with the collar. Whenever I would get ready to leave, I would hold up the collar so he could see it, put it on him, turn it on, and immediately leave. When I returned, I would greet him and then immediately take the collar off. He began to associate these and now I don't have to use it at all! Great product, and I love Chewy! … more

  • Does Not Work As Advertised

    By on

This collar was easy to set up, but it did not work for me the way it was supposed to. It's supposed to squirt when the dog barks, but it squirts mine even when he's just panting. I don't think that's fair to him, so I mostly don't use it. The only way I can use the collar is that if he's barking too much I can bring it near him and that will usually quiet him down because he doesn't want to be squirted.

  • Anti Bark Collar

    By on

My dogs don't like this as much as I do. I would suggest that when you put it on a dog and you have other dogs you should keep them separated. If another dog is close to the dog with the collar and he barks, it will trigger the spray. Even if the dog with the collar isn't barking. Other then that I like the product.
