I really should have paid attention to the reviews on here! My experience was the same. Food either falls straight through or it gets stuck and frustrates my dog (and me). Hard to get it to line up right if you take it apart. Easier to put the food in pieces at a time rather than open it and spend the next ten minutes trying to get it to line up right. Came with these cheap paper stickers on the side that are hard to get off. There are other similar toys that are much better. Plastic feels super-cheap, like it would easily break, so I watch my dog really close on the occasion I bring this toy out. I shouldn’t have bought it and will probably end up throwing it away.
Our dog trainer recommended this and it is awesome! It's very engaging for my golden doodle, Ella. She rolls it all over the house, foraging for food. Warning -- she figured out how to unscrew it and ended up chewing the edge of the device so I could no longer screw it together. If your dog does that, be sure to pick it up right away.
I'm not very good at judging how much/many of the little pointing things to cut off so that the size kibble I use will come out at the right amount. Would rather have ordered one that's a slide adjustment.
Not durable for puppies, plastic seal on the outside shreds, even small kibble has hard time getting through holes
Dogs love it and figured it out fast Just drives wife crazy though because it is noisy Fill it and go to keep dogs busy when your gone. Great treat dispenser.
My dog figured out how to open this in about 3 minutes! Always makes a mess! VERY disappointing!
I wish it would just stay together. To sum it up it should coast about $5 in my opinion and $5 is being generous.
My 45lb 2 year old loves this. Keeps him busy for a good 15-20 minutes. When you screw it together you want to make sure that you screw it tightly, make sure the pattern does not match up otherwise it will open easily. Every time we use it he gets excited about it
Great concept. But within minutes of filling it , it comes open and all kibble falls out.
This is a great product for dogs who are not aggressive chewers. It regulates the food being dispensed perfectly and he really enjoyed playing with it. However, our 1 yr old Lab tore this up in one day and was able to crack open the dispenser easily. I read the details about this not being a chew toy and made sure we supervised and picked it after he was fed, but after two feedings the outside rubber was pulling off and he even swallowed a few strips before I could take it away. No where in the details does it say this should not be used with aggressive chewers, or I would not have bought this product. I would recommend this product to all dog owners whose dog inhales their food from a bowl. But I would not recommend this for any aggressive chewers.
