This is a great puzzle treat dispenser. Our 13 yr old Australian Cattle Dog/Kelpie has arthritis in his hips and is not allowed to run full speed anymore. He was so happy running in the back yard but because he is not allowed to anymore he needed something to challenge his mind. This item is great because I can squirt some Kong cheese in it and place a few small treats in it. Screw it together and it is challenging for him to get the treats out. It is tuff and gives him exercise chewing.
I had one of these for my Chocolate Lab for years. Then could not find one anywhere locally for ages. Now my rescue dog has one and I was delighted to find one again! She loves it with peanut butter inside (no sugar) or cream cheese. If you freeze it, it will make it a real challenge.
Annie's trainer wants her kept busy and her mind occupied. Voila enrichment toys. This is a favorite. I only wish it were a little bigger to hold more kibble. It's easy to load and she likes to play with this and learned how to use it quickly.
Bucky likes it! It was a referral from vet, they have in their office!
We were excited for this toy, as puzzle toys are my Doxis favorite… He was not only able to unscrew it when it was full of treats but he was able to also rip into the actual toy bc it’s such a soft rubber. Great concept, needs to be made with a harder material/less easily destructible. We’ll have to keep looking for something like this.
Finally a way to keep my dog busy for a few minutes so he does not pester while I eat dinner. He loves pushing it around, though he gets frustrated when it goes under the couch. A little tricky to fill with kibble, but not hard once you get the hang of it. Rinses off quickly. Slight fragrance (baby powder?).
Was a lot smaller than I thought, I needed the next size up, but the toy it’s self is good, my dog loved it
6 lb chihuahua running around trying to get the treats. Awesome playtime!
Ordered a size large for our 55 pound puppy. This toy along with 2 others (Kong wobbler, Kong gyro) are what we feed him his dry food meals in. He can get the puppy sized kibble out by batting the toy around after 5-10 minutes. It holds about half a cup of kibble and I tighten the toy to its smallest opening so it takes longer for the food to spill out.
This lasted less than minute before our dog bit off a chunk. Always test durablity before leaving any pet alone with a toy.
