Major insult!
I have 4 indoor cats and 2 are young and pests if bored. The last 2 years I have found toys to occupy their time when this Kitty Madre was busy with the household. I cannot stress enough not to waste your money on this one. It couldn't hold the attention of a single feline from the get go!! They smelled the almost non-existent mouse and walked away, not interested. I will replace this with a toy we have purchased before to sparks their hunting instincts. This designer should be ashamed to sell such a lame item!!
Broke after one use
I turned this on, watched two mice slowly and barely move back and forth, and now the thing won’t turn on again.
Cute and entertaining but could be better
I love this automated toy for a couple reasons. A. It's interactive. B. It has a timer that will go off and on for 6 hours which is great while I'm at work. I only gave 4 stars because I was a little disappointed by a couple key parts. A. I was hoping there would be more than two mice that pop out, maybe like 3 or 4. B. The mice are made of a hard material that is a little rough when it pokes out and booped my cats snoot (it almost deterred her from playing with it again). And C. I was hoping it would be a little slower and maybe responsive to my kitty's touch (kinda like whack-a-mole).
Cute but not functional
Bought this for my kitten since he loves to swat moving things thinking this would be a ton of fun for him. Unfortunately when I got the item, it beeps when I press the power button but does not turn on. Really disappointed.
Does not work.
Put batteries in, turned the switch on and it lights up but NOTHING HAPPENS.
Cheesy and noisy
Way too noisy, only two plastic hard mice. My kitty not interested after initial curiosity. Will return.
Not fun for cats
I have two cats and neither likes this toy. It doesn’t offer anything for the cat to bite at or grab. It doesn’t stick out far and is boring really quickly. Neither of my two cats like this toy. Not satisfied.
A little cheesy
This large slice of cheese has two mice that randomly shoot out on opposite sides. My cats really like it but I was expecting a little more from the toy. The toy does not come with batteries and is not safe to leave unattended. The little mice retract but are still accessible for my cats to chew on.
If it worked
I have not been able to get this to work since it arrived. I’m sure it would be great but I have put 4 different types of AA batteries in this and nothing happens just beeps then starts flashing red. Not sure what is wrong but I have no idea how to go about getting a replacement. I’m sure if it worked it would be great, but for the price and the fact that out of the box it hasn’t worked once I want yo just return
Great toy for my kitty!!!
My cat took to this toy right away, she doesn’t normally take to a toy so quickly. When it stops, she sits next to it waiting for me to turn it on again.
