Fit our cats better than expected!

We have 4 big cats weighing between 13 lbs. - 18 lbs. with chest girths between 17 - 20 inches so we bought one harness in the largest size to see how it would fit them all. Nice light harness but doesn't stay secured

The part that goes under the belly is fine because it is secured with buckles, but the part that goes around the neck gets loose if the leash doesn't stay tense. There's a rubber stopper which is supposed to prevent the sliding part from slipping but it does not work at all. The harness only stays tight around the neck as long as the leash is tense, which is not always the case with a cat (mine likes to stop, sniff, wander, flop over, etc.) Therefore it is not a very secure harness and if she figures it out she would be able to get the harness off of her neck pretty easily. Also the straps and buckles are quite small so if you have a medium- or long-haired cat it can be hard to buckle because the parts get lost in the fur. Not a deal-breaker but something to be aware of if you have a fuzzball! … more
