Well worth the money!
I buy my dog food and treats from Chewy for my fur baby, Phoenix, who is an American Bully. When she started to have difficulty climbing on and jumping off of her favorite resting places, we talked to her vet first, then went shopping on Chewy’s. Before this step we got another, less expensive 2 step version that Phoenix liked but didn’t hold up the way we hoped, despite Phoenix being in the listed weight class. When we got in touch with Chewy’s about this issue, their customer service was amazing! They quickly issuing us a credit and then told to donate it to a nearby shelter, instead of sending it back, as we had intended. This time we went all in and are very happy with this product. We feel much more secure and Phoenix does too. She liked the first one and seemed confused when it didn’t hold up to her muscular frame. The replacement came quickly though, and Phoenix didn’t take long to start using her new, higher and much sturdier steps. They were very easy to set up and we couldn’t be more satisfied!
Pros and Cons
Love the style and flexibility, but did not realize the frame is very heavy wood and too heavy for the purpose I purchased it. I had wanted something I can use to get the dog(s) in the car, then throw in the hatch to use to get dog(s) out. Between the weight of the ramp and my age/health, this is not going to happen.
Very satisfied with the CozyUp Dog & Cat Steps Ramp. The order came quickly and it was packed beautifully. I love the fact that it can be converted from steps to a ramp. The quality is excellent. Great padding on the steps. My dog is small and he is able to climb the steps to my bed which is high. My only complaint is the plastic strips under the feet of the ramp. They do not stay on.
We bought this for our labradoodle when she herniated a disc. This thing is amazingly well made. Highly recommend. You can use it as a ramp OR as steps. This helped us since she was really uncertain about the whole ramp thing...
Love These Steps
I had surgery and could not lift my 29 pound older dog. We purchased the Petsafe CozyUp Dog and Cat Steps and Ramp, and it has been such a help! They are safe and sturdy and he feels confidant using them!
This is a very nice product Well made and sturdy Unfortunately my dog refuses to use it
This is well worth the $. Three different climbing options! Only suggestion would be to add rubber grippers to bottom to prevent movement on hard floors. Other than that, this is perfect!!
Really great and quality item
Our tiny yorkie loves the steps. Obvious quality. And aesthetically pleasing. Lives up to expectations.
Great Features, but 'we' have a few problems with it
What a terrific idea. No need to buy steps and ramp separately. I bought this and received it on Monday, August 9, 2021. It is easy to set up and very versatile! The stairs perform as described and convert to a ramp as described. The steps are a good size being 10 1/4" deep by 14 1/4" wide **** I am deducting one star as my 'presumption' about stairs converting to ramp was that it was built with senior dogs and cats in mind. 1) My senior cat has trouble getting her arthritic back legs up onto the bottom step. 1a) I have it set up @ the 16" height. In that position, the top of the bottom step is 8" from the ground. The other 2 steps each have a 5" rise. 1b) When set up @ the 20" height, the top of the bottom step is 9" from the ground and the other 2 steps have a 6" rise. 2) The carpeting on the steps is a good quality and I thought my cat would have no trouble using the unit when in the ramp position. Surprisingly though, my cat kept slipping on the carpet when in the ramp position (at it's lowest angle/height). I REALLY like this unit, but as you can tell, our cat has a few problems with the design. I'm not sure what can be done to make it easier for her to use, but will put on my thinking cap to see if I can figure something out. NOTE: I have reviewed this on the manufacturers web site as well and have suggested that they consider making a 4-step version. Same slope but w/be proportionally higher and deeper.
Well made (and well wrapped)
Received to help our two yr old with a knee injury. Product arrived fully assembled and wrapped tight. Including some foam and bubble wrap.
