Are they wide enough across for a dog to feel comfortable going up steps

The width of the steps is ideal for small, medium and large breed dogs.
Does the bottom have rubber on it or something else so it wont scoot out from under dogs or scratch the floor? Can it be attached to the bed so it wont scoot out from under dogs? Thanks

There is an attachable non-slip footing to remain firm. Peel the backing from each piece and press firmly into the recessed area at the corners on the underside of each piece.

Unfortunately Archie has not warmed up to the foldable stairs. He doesn't show the slightest interest on trying them out. I have worked with him numerous times and he is just fine with jumping on and off the bed, even though he is 9 years old. He still has puppy energy and uses it on a daily basis. My goal was to try & acclimate him before it becomes a necessity, but he is just not ready to go there. I will put it away for now and reintroduce it when it becomes time. The item is just fine and I thought it would be perfect - just not now for Archie.

Perfect for my needs

I have a 32 lb corgi and was struggling to lift him into the back seat of the car, and he doesn't particularly like being picked up anyway. I searched for a step stool or pet steps that were portable and even tried making a ramp, but nothing really worked. My dog had this set of stairs figured out in less than a minute and is so happy to be able to get up into the car and onto the back seat by himself! I then simply fold the stairs and place them on the floorboard, and when we arrive at our destination he walks down them too. The only issue is the carpeted pieces wouldn't stay attached until we glued them down with plain white glue.

SOLUTION to nightly disruptions

Finally a step system for dogs for those with traditional furnishings and 4 poster bed high off floor.. my stubby leg darlings can now get up and down all night long without wimpering for me to help them up! THIS FUR MAMA IS HOW IN HEAVEN! This size step was hard to find and thank you Chewy.com for offering it! My mixed Billie-Jo is still in practice today (just arrived) but my Rocket may be 11yr old but was agility king of the dog parks in his day and knew just what to do!

a must for aging cats

These are the best steps ever. Just the right size for a cat or small dog. My cat uses them to get up on the bed where her cat bed is located. There's no slipping or gaps in between the steps to fall through. My cat didn't need any coaxing to use them. She used them right away.

OK but not perfect

Steps are sturdy and very handy for our older dogs. The step pads that came with the stairs were impossible to get to stick. I eventually used spray adhesive to get them to attach to the step. Pain in the neck but at least now I have usable steps. Would really think twice before ordering them again.

Doggy stairs

This product solved the problem of having a small dog & a high bed ! He figured the stairs out quickly , they’re sturdy but still easy to move. All around good product.

Perfect help!

Convenient, light weight, foldable, good traction for little paws, took 2 seconds for my pup to learn how to go up and down. Then up and down, up and down. Such great fun!

Very useful

I have two corgis, a male and female. My female would no longer jump onto the bed but would wake me up around 4 in the morning asking to be put on the bed. Our first corgi had bad joints so I have always worried about them jumping up and down. My female took to it in 5 minutes with treats but wondered if she would get up and down in the middle of the night. Very first night, she got up and laid down and went to sleep! My male will not use it yet but we are still working on it.

Good product

These stairs are sturdy but light and easy to move out of the way. Our 16 year old cat is losing her spring and used them immediately to get on our bed.

Lily loves it

I didn't even show it to her, just put it beside the bed and she found it and ran right up onto the bed.
