I bought this item because my dog hurt his back leg. I am having a lot of difficulty putting it together!! The instructions aren't super helpful. Could someone help me put it together or did anyone else experience this? Frustrated!!!!
wooden ramp
This is nicely made and seems sturdy, & was easy to put together. I purchased for our senior dog who is having trouble getting on the couch. the ramp is more narrow than I thought and he doesn't seem to feel secure walking up it . we have moved it to 2 different angles one flush with the couch and the other running up to it. will take some convincing to get him to use it. if you have hard wood floors BE SURE TO PLACE A SMALL DOOR MAT OR CARPET UNDER THE LEGS OR IT WILL SLIDE!! I used a thin runner with a grippy bottom .i think it might be more useful for a smaller dog under 40 lbs. Our dog is 13 yrs old and about 52 lbs.
Not Self Supporting
From the images, it appears that the ramp can stand on its own, however, it needs to be supported at the front (resting on the sofa or bed) The support provided also do not lock into place. I spent a long time trying to figure out if I have simply assembled it incorrectly, but I think it just poorly designed.
Supports underneath cheap and broke.
The top of the ramp is wonderful. The supports are cheap and broke. My dog is only 15 pounds. Nice height but supports underneath are extremely poor quality.

Well made ramp!
This is a good ramp because it has a soft carpet for traction. Not too steep. My older needs a little help getting in the car for a visit to the vet and for a ride to the park. I rate this ramp as perfect!
Oh no! Broke first time I used it:(
I finally took it out of the box (bought in July) and put it together. It was not easy to assemble. I open up the lever on the bottom that sets it into place and the wood broke in half. I am going to contact Chewy to see if they will send a replacement.
It's perfect
I wish it didn't cost so much, because I'd love to have 2 of them. It came pretty quickly & it was pretty simple to put together. It's perfect for my needs - my aging Yorkies can go up & down easily. I also like that it has the platform at the top; I think it makes it even easier for them.
Not all there
Opened up the packages today. Missing on nut and washer. The support base piece that rests on the floor that should be connected to the first flat base peice(looks like an H) is not able to be screwed to each other. The hex bolts are not long enough in this package. Therefor I can’t put it together. Quality control is a key part of product producing. Please improve that.
DO NOT BUY
this is a terrible product....it took me 3 hours to assemble because directions were unclear. then when i got to last screw, the wood broke, making it unusable. chewy offered to refund, but would have to unscrew everything it took me 3hours to do...DO NOT BUY.
