Solid and Attractive
By Bonji on Mar 13, 2021
These are solid, well-constructed stairs to hopefully break my 25-pound Poodle Mix of his habit of jumping on and off our bed. He recently recovered from surgery for his luxating patella and the vet recommended I purchase stairs so he won't have to have surgery on his other legs. While a bit darker in color, they blend nicely with my cherrywood bedroom furniture and are so much more attractive than any plastic stairs. Now, if I can just get my dog to use these stairs consistently!

Returned these
By Rosie224 on Mar 30, 2021
I ended up returning these steps. They were sturdy and well-made but they just weren't for us. The steps were very narrow and steep so my dog had a lot of trouble getting up and down them. I initially bought them so my dog could get in and out of our bed in the evening but he wouldn't even go near them in the dark because he couldn't see them.

Great quality!
By Jbascle on Feb 16, 2021
Bought these for my Coton de tulear puppy (8lbs), but also with my senior boxer’s future in mind. The boxer hasn’t used them yet but they are solid and I have no doubt they will help her when the day comes that she needs a boost. The puppy learned to use them within a day and loves her new independence. Great quality. Looks nice. Folds to store. Would definitely buy again.

A Step Up (and Down)
By magillilnb on Feb 11, 2021
I had to lift my first small dog up and out of bed each day. She growled when I touched her stomach area, so I decided to buy some stairs. I chose these after reading many reviews and they are really nice. They look nice, they're sturdy, easy to store, and she uses them. Initially, I had to place a treat on the higher steps and on the bed to get her up them, but after a few days, she went up on her own. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Helper stairs
By dogmom3 on Feb 11, 2021
The construction of the steps themselves are sturdy. The covering on the individual step(s) could be made from a thicker fabric for less slipping and the treads just a little bigger. As in the photo.... this is exactly how my dog(s) use these steps. Coaxing with treats might help if I stayed consistent with it. Sometimes it's just easier to lift them to the bed.

We thought it would be a good idea...
By DCorr on Mar 2, 2021
Unfortunately I cannot rate the item (since it requires me to do so, I went in the middle) because my dog refuses to use it. He will walk around it and avoid it. He is getting older and can't always jump up anymore, but would rather lay on the floor than use the steps.

Not good for chewing puppies
By Loie on Feb 18, 2021
I got this as Petsafe has always been a reliable brand and I figured the wood would be solid. Not too impressed with the stair tread consists of a thin layer of felt which my puppy likes to chew. Be best to have it carpeted. Even the felt is limited to creating good traction.

Love the stairs
By Smokey on Mar 14, 2021
The stairs are absolutely perfect. Very solid for my 110 pound German Shepard. Very easy to use for my SUV as well. My German Shepard uses them all on his own and can get in bed with us easily. I highly recommend them.

Essential purchase
By Bklynbug on Feb 13, 2021
We have 1 elderly cat with arthritis, another with end-stage heart disease. We also have a very high bed and they were unable to join us at night. No set-up, folded out and set it by the bed, didn't take long - both of them were snuggled up on my pillow. Happy cats, happy catmom!

Beautiful piece of furniture!
By JewelPupBaby on Jan 6, 2021
I don't normally write reviews, but have to say - these stairs are beautiful. Our dog had surgery and needed the assist. I ordered these and were pleased with their appearance vs all the other foam and flimsy options out there. The steps were fairly wide too if you order the XL. We have a lab. I did have to return them but only because our dog just refused to use them. Not sure why but wouldn't do it. BUT they are a beautiful solid stair option for those looking. Worth the extra expense. Would've kept them but our dog was pretty stubborn. Would only get on bed via pure Momma muscles to lift her!
