Very easy to assemble
By Joyce on Jan 10, 2021
Actually, "assembly" is an exaggeration since all you have to do is pull open the stairs and put the carpet pieces on the 4 steps. My chihuahua (a rescue -- somewhere between 9-12 yrs.) is still mostly able to jump straight on the bed. I've got the stairs set up for him and he's used them a couple of times. The suggestion of putting treats on the stairs, however, didn't really work for him since he immediately figured out how to eat all the treats reaching from the floor on the side of the stairs.

Best purchase
By LuckyLucy on Dec 31, 2020
Lucy is a 4 month old Cavachon and we got the stairs when she was 2 months. She used the stairs the first day we got them and it gives her independence so she can get on our leather couch without help. She loves them and she’s growing fast but I have my doubts that she’ll ever be able to get up by herself. Best thing we ever bought for her! I totally recommend this product for small dogs with really short legs.

XL works for high beds
By Jway on Dec 27, 2020
These steps are nice because they’re high enough for my high bed. The other really nice feature about them is that they come with carpet things that you peel and put on the steps yourself (or not as in my case). Nothing makes my cat more nauseous than something that’s difficult to clean. I never put them on and I’m glad I didn’t because within having the steps for only 24 hours my cat projectile vomited from the top step all over it. Super easy to clean because I didn’t use the carpet pieces. In previous pet step iterations I’ve owned, they had a limited life because trying to get cat puke out of something like that is impossible.

Worth it!!
By Roms on Dec 20, 2020
My dog injured his lower back playing with my sister. He jumped up to get a toy and when he came down he fell on his back. I noticed he was walking strange and the vet told us what happened. No jumping or running for two weeks and very short walks. Very hard for a hyper pup and his bay window and my bed are high. Got two of these for each and he loves it! They hold the weight and even recommended it to friends who have senior dogs.

Saves me and my dog
By Coco on Jan 2, 2021
These work great. Sturdy and easy to set up and exactly what I wanted. I have a timid chihuahua 5lbs and she was quick to get used to these, with the help of a couple treats on the stairs she was using them in an hour. She races up and down them anytime these days. No waking me up to get her water because she has her own freedom of movement. Best part is I don’t have to stop what I’m doing or get up to pick the puppy up and down now!

Awesome pet steps
By Gilly on Dec 2, 2020
I bought the large pet steps for my cats, used their cat treats as an incentive and luckily they took to it quickly. I have a large Norwegian Forest Cat that struggles a bit sometimes jumping on the bed but these steps go right up to the top of the mattress and he has been using it to go up and down. It folds up if you want to store it away. This is a great product!!

Unstable and Slippery
By HGNR on Jan 5, 2021
I was able to quickly train my dog to use these steps, however, she still frequently slips off of them due to the soft carpeting and rounded plastic on the steps. I would not recommend this particular product for a pet that already has difficulty balancing or jumping. I did receive my order within 2 days and the only thing I had to assemble was putting the carpet strips on the steps!

Best stairs
By Sandy on Dec 12, 2020
I bought these steps for my dog Daisy. She likes to sleep with my son but his bed is really high. I was worried about when she jumps down she might hurt herself. I saw these steps and they're perfect! We had to teach her to use them of course. Treats helped. Now she uses them without treats. The steps have little pads so she doesn't slip. Also little non skid pads for the bottom if you have hardwood floors. Folds up during the day for storage. Thanks Chewy.

Awesome pup steps!
By Nancy3756 on Nov 24, 2020
Callie has congenital bone issues and now, she’s 4 1/2 and starting to have a few minor struggles—like jumping on our high bed. In order to minimize her work and still get her in bed, we are heading off issues at the pass. She’s not sure what to think but she will use them. Sturdy plastic, carpet pieces that are backed with glued and perfectly cut for fit and easy open and close for use and storage. Great product!! Oh. Callie weighs about 37 pounds, and it looks like the steps are sturdy enough for a little heavier dogs. :)

Does the job
By Doglover on Jan 11, 2021
When our 20 lb Maltipoo developed arthritis in her shoulder and neck she could no longer jump on and off the bed. We purchased these stairs and they work great. At first she would only go up, but now she uses them like a champ, giving her the independence she is used too.
