Enjoy pull-free walks with your furry friend with the PetSafe Easy Walk Dog Harness! This thoughtfully designed harness helps stop pulling and teaches your canine companion better leash manners. Unlike a standard collar, this harness rests across your dog’s chest—this helps remove pressure from his neck. The patented martingale loop on the front is paw-fect if your dog tends to pull—when your dog lunges, the loop tightens, which puts gradual pressure on his shoulders, which allows you to regain control and redirect his focus. The belly strap is a different color than the rest of the harness to make it easy for you to get your pup ready for your next ex-pawdition, and the leash attachment is located at the front of the harness, so you can gently guide your buddy. And since the harness has less coverage than other harnesses, it is lightweight and breathable, so your paw-tner can stay cool and comfortable!

This harness worked great to help with our puppy pulling. We are teaching her leash manners, but this harness helps us keep her under control while she is learning. We bought her the small size when she was a tiny puppy, and it served us very well until she was 6 months old. Around 6 months, she needed the next size up, so I ordered it and we began using it. After a week, the harness fell apart in the front where the leash attaches. Because we had such a great experience with the first one of this brand, I assumed this was a fluke and ordered a replacement. The replacement fell apart in almost the same place as the first one literally the day after we started using it. I am attaching photos of both the first and second broken harnesses. I've never seen my dog chewing on her harness, and she only wears it when we are outside for a walk, so I'm fairly certain that my dog didn't cause this herself. The edges of the break seem too clean for my dog to somehow have chewed through it. This is incredibly disappointing, as I haven't found anything similar to this harness. I really like how this functions compared to a normal fabric/sport harness, but I won't chance purchasing another with the horrible quality I've seen from the two recently purchased. I almost lost my dog with the most recent break, a nightmare that I don't care to go through again. Avoid this product and choose something else.
I have 2 puppies, who are growing quickly, and very energetic. They’re only 5 months, and around 30lbs each, but boy are they strong! These puppies pull like crazy, regardless of how much I walk them, and pull on their collars to “heel”. Nothing I’ve done has helped. I was considering buying a choke collar, but really don’t like the idea of pain, or causing any damage / harm to them. I purchased these harnesses, and the first time I used them, I was absolutely flabbergasted at their effectiveness! These pups no longer pull at all! Just a little here and there when they want to eat something on the ground. The only negative side effect I’ve experienced, is they sometimes lie down on the ground, just flip over, and refuse to get up, when they are pulled on -when they won’t heel. Overall, I am absolutely amazed at this fine product, and would highly recommend without hesitation, for anyone trying to address a dog who pulls.
If your dog is a puller - get this harness and watch the magic happen. Our dog was a serious puller, and despite all efforts to train that out of him, he would persist at the pulling. Someone recommended this harness and I gave it a try. He no longer pulls, and walks very nicely now. It is a Miracle!
I have 2 young, energetic dogs that love walks. My female easily responds to me when she wears her Gentle leader. Her brother is literally too head strong to stop pulling when he wears his. This Easy Walking harness changed that from the very start. Now, I can safely walk both my dogs in my neighborhood - no matter what we encounter.
I absolutely would not recommend this product! I put the harness on my 6 month old Yorkie (thankfully in the house) attached her leash and the ring the leash attached to pulled off. She was free to run, what would have happened if she was outside, we all know the answer. After looking at the harness the piece of fabric, that held the ring on, was glued - not sewed. Very, very scary and unsafe! Chewy refunded the purchase price, Thank you.
I have tried many, many other harnesses in the past. I have worked in shelters that use the Freedom Harness, which are nice, especially for training, but they are a bit more of a chore to take on and off and higher priced. I always go back to the Easy Walk. I train dogs to walk just as easily with it. When the dogs are trained not to pull, I simply re-arrange it so that the hook is on the back.
We had a problem with our new rescue samoyed and pulling on walks. We had tried a harness with both a front and back clip, but would often just use the back clip due to all the fur. We switched to this Easy Walk harness and there's already a noticeable difference! It definitely makes it less of an instinct to pull. We're not entirely sure of the fit/if it chafes. But the hope is that he can stop pulling and we can switch to another collar or harness.
Harness looked great and worked pretty well to limit pulling (didn't stop it entirely), but after about a month our dog's shoulders started to have balding patches where the harness rubbed. I didn't love the front clip and that definitely was the cause of his fur getting rubbed off, although our dog didn't walk next to us with this harness like it intends. I was able to find a different no-pull harness with a Martingale style back clip so now there isn't any fur rubbing off and it works well for limiting pulling as well (brand is 2Hounds in case you also noticed this issue with this harness).
I am a professional service dog trainer, and this is my opinion. This is a well made harness, but a total scam. When you follow the instructions from the video/ website on how to use it, it is just one of many ways you can teach your dog to heel. ( with or without the purchase of this tool) if you want to use it that’s fine but it ps no miracle worker
I use this harness with my 90 pound AmStaff Boxer mix. He is a very strong dog with stubborn tendencies. Vest type harnesses did not allow me to have enough control while a regular neck collar caused him to choke when he pulled or acted out. I have used this harness for two weeks now and it has given me the control I need without causing the coughing or neck discomfort from the normal collar. The material is strong, it is easy to attach around my big boy and he does does mind it at all.
