Are these Recommened for puppy’s?

A harness may be worn by a puppy, adult or senior dog.
Can you turn it so the leash clips on the back?

It's not recommended to alter this harness in any way. The D-ring is meant to be in the front. The martingale loop at the chest prevents twisting and The chest strap rests across your dog's chest instead of putting pressure on the delicate throat, so there's no choking or gagging.
Is the harness ok to be worn while swimming or playing in a lake?

This harness will work well for three-legged dogs, as it rests across the chest and wraps around the torso.

Helps walking

This definitely reduced the dog pulling (it didn't stop it completely but it helped while we are training). It's easy to get on and off with the clips. The instructions were very clear for how to fit the harness properly. I did have to adjust it a few times when I first got it before I got it to fit like the instructional picture - it was easy to adjust I just wasn't familiar with this type of harness. It's very minimal which is nice, yet the dog hasn't slipped out of it.

Best walking harness

This is the best harness I have used with my 70 pound mixed breed dog. She has chewed through others and with other harnesses been quite challenging to walk with. The Easy Walk harness delivers what it promises. I recently replaced an old one with the "buy again" option only to stay ahead of wear. Strongly recommend

Amazing Product

I have a new 70lb rescue that is a solid block of smashing, crashing and out of control. We work with him every day with basic obidiance and loads of exercise. Our vet suggested this style lead for walks because he pulls so hard it became too dangerous with either myself or him getting hurt. When I first adopted him I had to return a harness I got him because he was so wound up I couldn't get both of his front legs through it without one falling off, being knocked over or trampled. I put this on him very simply as soon as it arrived last night. Each of the three pieces is labeled where it goes (smart) I hooked his leash and lead him around the yard effortlessly. Im not exaggerating when I tell you it immediately worked. I could walk him and my 25lb dog this morning on one hand at the same pace for our morning 2 mile walk. I do have to say it looks a little weird, maybe like it doesn't fit quite right but thats just the way it is. I used a tape measure to be sure I ordered the right size. My husband was totally blow away watching him walk normally this morning. He hadn't gone with us the past three days because he was so incredibly annoyed with how bad our dog pulled. I gave it a 4 star for the look of it and because he did have trouble going up the stairs in it last night. Take it off when not in use. The point of it not allowing the dog to pull is spot on, I give that feature 5 stars.

Great, but not chew proof

Bought this for my puppy to learn how to walk without pulling. Her chest is a little on the smaller side despite her width so one day while she was resting with it on, she was able to lower her head and grab grip of the front part of the harness - which is unfortunately the most important part! She almost chewed her way through the whole front strap. I would still get this product again - but probably once she’s older and has lessened chewing.

Wouldn’t be Without

This is such a great harness, I have used them for years. I initially got one through an obedience class. We were shown how to adjust for a perfect fit. This harness is the easiest to use, it is comfortable, and it has eliminated pulling. All of my dogs, big and small, have one of these.

So Far So Good

My dog is older now and required to wear a harness. No more collar and leash. Was nervous as never purchased a harness before. The girl's at Chewy were so very helpful. I appreciate them so much! It fits her and we are adjusting pretty good to the new harness. Thank You girl's for all your help. Could not have done it without you!

Great harness!

My dog is 110 pounds of energy. I need a well constructed harness in order to control her without choking her. This one does the job and allows this 77 year old woman to walk her without worrying about getting pulled of my feet. It's also easy on, easy off.

Good quality

I purchased the Easy Walk Dog Harness because I saw a friend using it on her dog and I thought it would help my dog not pull so much when we were out on a walk. The harness seems to be made of great quality, unfortunatley I ordered a size too big and cant get it tight enough to use on my dog. But I would recommend this product becasue it is well made.

Not the best

Even though this does limit (does not stop) the pulling of our 8 month old golden retriever, the harness slides to to the side making walkong uncomfortable for both of us. Because of the sliding, she ends up walking half sideways. If I tighten it any more to reduce the slipping, then it pinches her under her front legs. I was worried about it pinching her too much, so I tried loosening it a little. She was able to slip her front leg through like Hudini! While the harness is better than nothing, I will purchase something different in the future!

do not recommend

I got the petite for my 11 pound shih tzu. Took him on a walk today. Didn’t even make it two blocks and the d ring broke off and my dog got loose. Chewy was amazing and refunded. Great customer service as always.
