Timer function works but...
By CatMomma on Jan 20, 2021
I like this feeder overall. The timer function is easy to set, change, and customize, and has worked reliably for over a month now. The only issue is that one of my cats is a voracious eater... she chews the top of the feeder and pushes the sides of the bowl to move it to the next bowl to get more food! I was hoping to be able to regulate her eating more easily but I still have to watch her with this bowl so she doesn’t get extra meals! Pretty disappointed that she can get all the food rather than just to portion she is doled out... That being said, for a normal cat that isn’t quite so naughty it would probably work really well!

Easy to use and absolutely worth it!
By Maggie on Jan 22, 2021
I got this for my dog who needs to be fed four small meals per day, one of which is lunch. When I'm in the office, it's not as feasible for me to travel home to feed her. I was worried that this product wasn't going to last because my pup can tend toward being a chewer and I figured she'd probably destroy this in a week or so. That, thankfully, hasn't been the case! It makes just enough noise to alert her to her lunch-time meal and it's secure enough that she doesn't try rooting for more in the other compartments. For the price, I really can't complain as it provided exactly what I needed!

Simple and Easy to Use
By StephB on Jan 13, 2021
I bought this feeder to better regulate my cat's meal times and it could not have been easier to use. It's very simple to set up and is incredibly low maintenance- it's been almost 2 months and I have not had to change the batteries once. My cat eats wet and dry food and I have no problem storing both in this. At first, my cat was a little hesitant to use the feeder, as it makes a small noise when transitioning over to the next section, but once he realized what was inside, he got over that right away. I would not recommend using it while going out of town for more than an overnight trip, as it only has 4 covered sections and cannot be loaded up for very many meals. Also, it is a bit bulky. Kitty won't get near it!
By Rita on Jan 10, 2021
My daughter's cat loves this automatic feeder, so I thought it would be useful to feed my cat who needs his food divided up into 4 small meals per day so that he doesn't gorge himself and then vomit it up! My kitty was very interested in the unit as I was setting it up with the batteries, setting the timer, and filling it with food. He even purred and rubbed over the outside of the unit once filled. He heard the motor sound as I was figuring out how to set the timer and I thought we were all good to go. However by the next day he wouldn't go near it. I've set the feeder up outside his private area with hopes that he would get more accustomed to it, but that hasn't happened. However, one of my dogs LOVES the snacks and comes to check it out every time he hears the motor. Sadly, I'll have to be returning this item. … more

Surprisingly amazing

Our boys are hungry all. of. the. TIME! We feed them wet food for dinner at 5pm and for snack at 10pm. The problem is they used to eat their crunchies at 6am which became helpful to get us up for work. 6am eventually became 4am, then 3am, then settled at 2:30am. Our cats were waking us up every morning around 2am to eat. We tried locking them out, feeding them their snack later. EVERYTHING! they would not stop. I think working from home has screwed up their internal clock and our sleep schedules were constantly disturbed. So much so that there were multiple times I would be awake for the rest of the morning. Finally I had enough, and said we're trying this feeder, if they break it then fine, Our boys are hungry all. of. the. TIME! We feed them wet food for dinner at 5pm and for snack at 10pm. I was so afraid they'd dig at these bowls until they could spin them or unlock them but it never happened! In the beginning they tried digging in them with no success! Now we sleep through the night, FINALLY SUCCESS!! the only con is that these things are loud. We have them next to our bed so they could learn to rely on them instead of us, and they will occasionally wake us up with their loud whirring and spinning, but it lasts all of 4 seconds. We will eventually move them downstairs, we just wanted them to get used to them first. They were both very scared of the sound at first, and now they go running when they hear them! Highly recommend if you have very hungry and persistent cats! … more

Paws of approval!

One of my cats is a bit of a Garfield. Sweetest thing until it comes to food and feeding time. We got these feeders to stop being terrorized early in the am ( TumTum knows how to open doors, and we have grown accustomed to creating barricades before bed but still TumTum would prevail even after months of ignoring), well not really any more! Old Cat Loves It
By KitKat on Jan 23, 2021
My cat is 12 years old and has trouble eating throughout the day. Having this product helps set her into a schedule even when I am not home. It turns and she has learned when it makes a "click" noise then it is time to eat. It took her some getting use to at first, but now she loves it. It keeps the food fresh also. I think it has made her learn to eat better. Old kitty just needed a schedule.

Perfect for busy cat owners
By BusyNurse on Jan 10, 2021
Easy to set up, requires 4 d batteries. Perfect for dry food. I have 2 adult cats, and they require feedings 2-3 times a day. I dont like to leave a huge bowl of food out to limit their diet. But this allows me to leave small portions of dry food out for them, and it interchanges between 5 different trays of food. I love it. Cats are eating fine from it. Its saving me time and energy. Brought us some precious peace
By Mimi on Dec 13, 2020
We have two young cats in our house that we feed twice a day. And like many cats, they start whining to be fed *hours* before meal time, even though we are careful never to give into whining. They always wake us up early in the morning and pester us late in the afternoon. Exhausting -- as any pet owner knows. So I bought two of these on sale as an early xmas present to us. Within a couple of weeks, the whining for food has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY. They are already learning to expect food from the feeder -- not us. There is the occasional plea for food, but it is so much less than before. I LOVE IT!
