Does it work in vinyl slider

This Extreme Weather Sliding Glass Pet Door™ adjusts to fit most sliding glass doors with heights from 75 7/8" - 80 11/16". The panel measures 1 ¼” at the widest point and will fit most sliding glass door tracks without issue. It may work for some vinyl slider models however, it would vary by their measurements.

Intimidating

Item (large version) received in a very beat up box. Actual product doesn't appear to be damaged, that box has seen some ish. The product is NOT as self-explanatory as the listing indicated. This is going to require a lot more of a construction- or power tool-savvy person's input for installation which is a bummer. Also important to note, the clearance for humans to continue to use the sliding door (if or once the pet door insert is installed) is essentially halved. I'm 5'4 and not super wide, but I will have to turn to the side to go in and out if we decide not to return the product.

Not for Mobile Homes

Seems to be a sturdy product, however it is not compatible with my mobile home sliding door, which is 75 1/4 inches high. Regretfully returning.

Worth the $$$, well insulated, dual pane glass & flaps

Live in SoCalif desert where winters can get 20°-25°, with 110°+ summers. We already feel warmer in the dinning/lvrooms!!. Insert is well made (dual pane glass, 2 pet flaps PLUS insulation flap) and worth the $$$. . . took my pets a couple days as the flap is opake grey like when they were " locked out" with old pet slider insert ....
