I always trust Petsafe doggie door. It works perfect and easy to install. Also the door flap is in lower so our senior small dogs don’t need to jump to go over the flap. Highly recommend.

Installed this door in a rental house slider. Fit perfectly without drilling any holes in the sliding door frame, or using any of the attaching hardware. The spring loaded top of the dog door held it in place. Installed the top 2 screws to prevent the dog door from being lifted out. Then stuck a yardstick in the slider track to secure it. The dogs love it. The quality was much better than expected.

Extremely difficult to assemble. My friend a handyman, took 3 hours. The screws were wrong, the weatherstripping didn’t work and the door doesn’t lock. We had to buy other things to make it work. Got it for my cat, can’t keep the door for the patio always open anymore due to mold accumulation in my a/c ducts. She hates it but will eventually get used to it.

My dogs are in and out. This door was the answer. It fit my 8 ft. Sliding door. I was able to mount it so I could close and lock the slider. Only thing better would be double pane glass.

Great product and great solution for pets to go outside and do their business on their own anytime! Puppy pad trained outside on balcony in no time. It was easy to order, fast delivery, easy to install and a great customer service experience over the phone. Thank you Chewy team!.

I have had one of these doors for four years before buying this one from chewy this one is almost identical but the weight of the unit has got to be at least 10 lbs lighter but it seems just as dirty as my old one I would totally recommend this.

THE PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT BUT THE INSTALL IS NOT AS EASY AS YOUR VIDEO MAY INDICATE!! YOUR VIDEO, I BELIEVE, SHOWS THE INSTALL IN A WOOD FRAMED SLIDER. MINE IS AN ALUMINUM FRAME. I HAD TO MOUNT THE SECURING HARDWARE ON THE OUTSIDE WHICH NEGATES THE SECURITY OF THE INSTALL. THE LOCK ALSO DIDN'T WORK IN MY PARTICULAR INSTALL. NEVERTHELESS, I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE PRODUCT,

The dog door does not come with a option to lock sliding door with dog door other than that the item was perfect!

This door was so easy to install. The only thing that I didn’t like about it was the locking mechanisms. It doesn’t seem secure we will still use a stick to make sure it won’t come open. Also it doesn’t come with weather stripping, which you will need.

Needed the extra tall door. Worked out great. Easy installation and has a secure lock for the slider.
