- The Egg-Cersizer lets you adjust how easily the treats are dispensed. Start with an easy setting, allowing treats to come out quickly, so your cat associates the toy with a food reward. Once your cat gets the hang of it, you can increase the level of difficulty by making the openings smaller. It will take your cat longer to get the reward, thus encouraging longer play time. This appeals to your cat's prey drive; your cat will feel like she's catching and eating her prey every time she plays.
- Dishwasher safe, top rack only.
Why would my cat need a food-dispensing toy?
Our modern lifestyles have impacted our cats. Around 50% of our cat population shows some signs of obesity. In order to prevent and control obesity, it is advisable to ration your cat’s portions and provide him with some form of physical activity. Interactive feeding toys including SlimCat and our FunKitty toys will do just that. They help your cat fight obesity and maintain a healthy weight by encouraging your cat to work for his food and by rationing his food.
How do I know if my cat is obese?
Talk to your veterinarian if you think your cat has a weight problem. The general signs of obesity include:* Ribs and backbone are not easy to feel* Pet has no waist* Significant fat has accumulated around all parts of the body* When looking at pet from above, pet is very round

dispenses treats like candy
By cinamonndsugar on Jan 9, 2021
First of all, there’s a little rubber section on the bottom that (I assume) is to add in treats quickly. Well it’s too flimsy and any dry cat food I put in simply fell out through this hole. I then tried rather large greenies dental treats and they managed to stay in the ball well. But, I put the ball on the one hole setting with the hole only partially open and they still came out like candy. This is incredibly poorly designed. Do not waste your money on it.

Old cat can learn new tricks
By Eryn on Jan 13, 2021
Got this for my 13 year old cat. Was apprehensive because he isnt that in to toys but I followed the instructions that came with this (using it as a food bowl first to get the cat used to it) and he loves it! Keeps him busy and his mind occupied while Im working. I just put his regular food in it and have been slowly making the whole smaller.

Cats go wild!
By Lonie on Dec 31, 2020
I only had to use this "Egg" once with more than one hole set. The smarter of my two seven month old cats was a pro after that, so now I have set it at one small hole. He gets very excited when he knows I am getting it ready and will work at it until all treats are eaten (the other cats waits and moves in to grab a treat when he can!).

We love it.
By AuntReRe on Dec 23, 2020
My 10 yo female and my 2 yo male like this. We use it for treats and dry pebbles. This is my 2 yo preferred method of eating instead of his bowl. He does get a little lazy with it and will push it until it is up against something and will no longer roll and then he is finished, teaching him to use his paw to roll it back to him.

Egg-Cersizer

Our cat eats too fast, causing digestive problems. This treat dispenser slows him down while giving him something useful to do! He has to work for his food, and he LOVES doing it!

Wild for egg
By Samp on Nov 12, 2020
Every night, our girl screams for egg. Luckily it can be made quite difficult. It takes her at least half an hour to eat. That means we can now watch an episode of TV and eat dinner in peace. Girl loves her egg. We bought this a year and a half ago. We put her entire dinner in it every night. Unlike most treat toys, this unscrews in the middle so it is easy to fill with actual food. It has withstood several accidental human and dog kicking incidents. It is finally starting to wear down and is developing a crack along the thread. Of course, I need to order another before she cracks it.

Too simple. Not as entertaining as expected
By kcats on Nov 9, 2020
It works but i thought my cat would be more entertained. Its really simple. If the holes are too big the treats just fall out when the cat barely does anything. If the holes are too small the treats never come out so its impossible for the cat to get rewarded. Might as well just give your cats straight up treats. Maybe i need different treats. Also the toy needs to be explained better, there are 2 pieces but they are screwed together and dont need to come apart, you put the treats in the bottom hole with the silicone to hold them in, and you adjust the side holes from the top to the size you want by turning the covering piece. Too simple.

Great Toy!
By Catmomof6 on Jan 6, 2021
I got this especially for my fat baby, Nyles. I filled it with some hard kibble, rolled it a few times, until a piece came out. He caught on real quick! I noticed he rolled it enough times to get the rest out. Smart cat!

Entertaining for a while and can be used for small dogs
By rododendra on Jan 11, 2021
Right from the moment I opened it, I only left open 1 hole, my cats were able to get the treats out in a matter of minutes. It was really simple for the to figure out but they love it.

My cats Love it!
By Cute on Jan 9, 2021
They love playing with it and getting the treats. Unfortunately, they empty it so quickly that I have to be alert to refill it again!
