- The Egg-Cersizer lets you adjust how easily the treats are dispensed. Start with an easy setting, allowing treats to come out quickly, so your cat associates the toy with a food reward. Once your cat gets the hang of it, you can increase the level of difficulty by making the openings smaller. It will take your cat longer to get the reward, thus encouraging longer play time. This appeals to your cat's prey drive; your cat will feel like she's catching and eating her prey every time she plays.
- Dishwasher safe, top rack only.

Food falls right out so it doesn't promote exercise
By JKrav on Apr 3, 2021
My cat needed to lose some weight and loves playing with balls so I thought this egg-shaped treat dispenser would be perfect for treats or dry food. I was hoping my cat would roll it around and get some exercise as advertised, but the food falls right out since the holes are too big. It's not much of a puzzle or egg-cersizer. It would be better for dog food that's larger. I loved the concept of this, but it was a waste of money.

Fun toy exercisor
By Foxcat on Mar 16, 2021
This is a great exerciser toy. I fill it with some crunchy food. There are 3 windows that can be opened or closed to make it easier or harder to get the food. I have 3 cats, 2 are 1 year old; one is 8 years old. The younger cats caught on to it right away and so I open only one window on the egg. Still they empty the toy in record time. My older cat likes it too, but he is very slow with everything, so I segregate him from the kittens so they won't grab his food and he will get a chance to play with it. I think the last time I use it, I opened 2 windows for him. It's a great toy; good exercise and treats the cats like. My cats give it 5 stars and so do I!

good for what it is
By cmas on Mar 7, 2021
This is a perfect beginner toy for cats who have never used treat dispensing toys or food puzzles. My cat (8yr old) had never used or been introduced to something like this before. I use his kibble (purina pro plan) in it and it is great. A few pieces fall out each time he pushes around the toy. The toy itself is decent for the price. The way it screws on could be improved, but other than that I have no complaints. Not sure why some of the other reviews make a big deal out of having to turn the dial to fill it, but it makes sense that you want the holes shut before refilling it with food. Of course food will fall out while you fill it if you don’t shut the holes first Overall, im a fan of using This is a perfect beginner toy for cats who have never used treat dispensing toys or food puzzles. Needs some design changes for sure.

I own another treat/kibble dispenser that is round in shape and only allows for all three holes to be open. The egg interested me because I would be able to have only one hole open at any size I choose. That is the only positive about this dispenser. The wobbly shape advertised basically tips over and then merely rolls around in a circle. The cats don’t chase or pounce and get bored with it quickly. One of my main issues is with the product is the Treat Meter (TM). I don’t know why this is even needed. Kibble falls out of it all the time. So, there goes my food only coming out of one selected sized hole. Food also falls out while I’m carrying them (2 cats). Sure I can ‘solve’ this problem by I own another treat/kibble dispenser that is round in shape and only allows for all three holes to be open. Sure I can ‘solve’ this problem by closing the holes and carrying them differently. But I use the same kibble every day. Don’t think I should have to fiddle with the dial every time I use them. Also... cats have a great sense of smell so I’m sure they can tell by just sniffing the dispenser for a bit. They can also roll it around notice that there is no sound of tumbling treats. Cats are pretty smart like that! Treat Meter (TM) be gone!! So, unfortunately, all the cons greatly outweigh the pro. Gonna keep looking for the perfect kibble ball. Fingers crossed. … more

Just what I needed
By Bonkers on Feb 24, 2021
I have a one year old stray that came as a tiny kitten. Even though I have 2 other two year old cats, he is my trouble maker. Every morning he has the mats pulled out from food dishes, water dish tipped over, even tried to do a gallon automatic waterer and tips that too. Obviously he's a very busy kitty. Followed all the instructions that came with the egg. Within 5 seconds of getting it, he had it all figured out. Forget starting with 3 holes for him. I immediately switched to 1 hole, but went down to 1/2 a hole and that seems to work for both of us. With great rejoicing I can say he no longer bothers with the mats or tipping the water. Disperses treats too easily
By Harley on Apr 5, 2021
I do not recommended this toy for cats, you lightly push this over and all the treats spill out. I leave it on the smallest setting (without trapping the treats) and everything comes out without my cat putting in any effort. I had hoped this would keep her entertained but the treats just come out too easily, not worth it.

Not very impressive. Hard to use (for humans), and too easy for cats
By Susan on Apr 2, 2021
I'm little and have very small hands. I had a lot of trouble rotating the top part to allow openings in the toy so that treats could dribble through. It's very hard to manipulate. One of my cats has it figured out and releases all the treats quickly; the other one doesn't care enough.

Great “toy” with built-in reward system
By SweetiePye on Feb 23, 2021
My cat loves her treats (way too much!). The Egg-Cerziser slows her down a little, gets her thinking, and makes her work for those treats. I started with all treats and all three holes open. She emptied the egg in less than 10 minutes! Now I use a mixture of her kibble with just a few treats, and we’re down to one open hole. She loves this toy and it’s fun for me to watch her work the egg. I like that you can adjust the size of the holes to accommodate your specific kibble/treats so you can increase or decrease the “flow” of treats.

Great for cats who eat too fast
By Cindy on Mar 26, 2021
One of my new cats is an obnoxious teenager, hungry all the time, wolfing down his food, then sometimes up-chucking. He loves chasing this thing around. You can adjust how big to make the dispenser holes, and there's a spot on top to add pellets so you don't have to twist it open every time.

Works, but not best for fat cats
By 2Cats on Mar 19, 2021
I have a cat who loves to eat...to the point of a gut. I got this to slim him down, he was disgusted with my attitude toward his life choices, but I shrugged it off. I had to shake a few pieces out to jog him on it, and he caught on quick...but this little glutton managed to hack the devices and found a way to wack it without it really rolling so he could eat with minimal effort. Between the wide holes and his evil master plan, he was on track to gain in the thighs and gut, and I to lose out on money dished on kibble and tissues for my tears. I upgraded to a full sphere option of this on here and it's been much more successful, and based on my now slimmer cat and looks of disgust, I can confirm I have a cat who loves to eat...to the point of a gut.
