To get the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.

I have two small dogs that like to see when they ride. Once they were big enough I got a harness for each of them. Helps minimize my younger boy carsickness since he can see better than a crate while still keeping him safe!
These Harnesses are not good. I got two hoping it would fix the issue of my dogs crossing on their tether seat belts when they are both in the back seat. The harness front is not sewn to the straps so if the dog pulls to the side or moves it moves with them. This is a problem though because the back stays attached to the seat belt, so it smashes their leg and they get all tangled in the actual car seat belt. It is dangerous for the dogs. I used it on both my 25 pound dog and my 50 pound dog. I watched all the videos and used it as instructed and within 5 minutes of driving the dogs were crying and all tangled in the seat belts. I pulled over and fixed it and it happend immediately again. I do not reccomend this product at all!
Initially I was very happy with the adjustability and design of this safety harness. So we immediately took her on a long walk to start to get used to it. But it quickly shifted out of position at the least tugging. When we got home I checked it out to see what I could do to get it to stay in position. But I would have to add grommets or lock stitches. I should have returned this and gotten the other one that is is safety tested. But because she had already worn it out on a walk it had a lot of hair and possibly dirt, and I did not think they would accept it in return. So I am disappointed. Only two models that I saw were safety tested by third parties.
We tried so many different harnesses before finding this one. It’s a good price and my pup seams very comfortable while wearing it. There is also room for her to grow!
No matter what we tried, if my dogs backed up or we pulled forward/up they slid right out of it backwards. We were moving cross-country with two big senior dogs. Don't consider them safe in unsafe surroundings or you could regret it.
Needed a harness to hook into private airplane shoulder harness. This kept our bulldog secure for the flight'
The chest piece slides around. Also the flap that covers their spine does not stay in place.
We love this harness. It is just what we needed. It keeps our puppy (8 month old, 21 lb.) in his seat and so he can just sit and watch out the window. Also, I am less distracted while driving.
The harness does not stay in place at all. When attached to the car seat belt, it pulls to the side forcing my dog to stay seated as opposed to being free to look out of the window.
Fits well once you get used to adjusting it. Phoebe 22lb Bernedoodle steps into it soon as she jumps in the car. Sturdy and well made! Does what it supposed to ultimately, I love the fact it’s crash tested!
