Happy(ish) Pup
Our pup outgrew the crate we used in the car for transporting him. Wanted to go with an option used on the seat, instead of the floor. It's much larger than I anticipated, but he seems to enjoy it. It's a whole new world as he's now able to see out the window. He's still getting used to seeing through the mesh, but is comfortable enough to where he lays down and naps. I put his crate insert in it to give a little more cushion. It was a struggle at first buckling it in. I couldn't get it tight enough so I had to move the front seat back to help hold it in place. It is in the way of my vision when looking over my shoulder when driving, but I'm getting used to it. Very nice quality.
Patches going for a ride in her puppy car seat
Honestly, a great purchase! It’s holds my 20 pound, 8 month old Jack Russel perfectly, and fits well in my 2014 Ford Edge! It’s the perfect thing to give her space, but still keep her contained and safe. You use your seat belt to keep it contained (just like a car seat) and it goes in between fabric so they can’t chew it! (She has a cone on because she just got spayed)
Nearly perfect!
This was simple to setup -- just expand the canvas "walls" and pop the frame into place. The frame mechanisms moved smoothly and felt secure, and the separate floor piece was lightweight but firm, adding more stability overall. I also like how the back has a "false wall" which allows you to hide the seatbelt while also ensuring you can secure the seatbelt around the back frame, making it more secure during travel. (It actually took me a few uses to notice this false wall; I was originally disappointed thinking the seatbelt was fully exposed for my cat or dog to chew on.) A negative? It's a bit tall and it obstructs some of my view through the rear window. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this carrier. Though it's on the expensive side, it is a unique design that's nearly perfect for our travel style.
Greatest pet safety car seat
I am beyond impressed with this car safety seat for my fur babies! So high quality. Easy set up and take down. Along with the ease of getting the dogs in and out. They love it! They can see everything and it’s so open that they don’t get hot. Best thing I bought to ensure their safe on rides.
Best local travel crate!
I have a 30-lb rescue dog who is not very comfortable riding in the car. In a traditional crate he got anxiety and car sickness, and when using a hammock seat cover and seatbelt clip he would try to climb all over inside the car. This travel crate has been the perfect solution. He climbs right into it by himself and smiles when he is inside! He can see and smell through the mesh and he is close to us so he doesn’t get scared. It only takes up one seat so there is plenty of space for my 50-lb dog to ride in the passenger seats next to the crate. I also like feeding him treats through the special opening in the side. It is sturdy and very easy to set up and folds flat in about 20 seconds when needed. Both sides zip open and closed so I can load him in either side depending on where I’m parked. This has been a total game-changer for our family.
Solved all car woes
We went through several other car options and none went well. The back seat hammock...the car seatbelt...an open car seat with a seatbelt. Everything not this resulted in panic and struggling to escape (to get to my lap which is where he cannot be while I drive). This thing is amazing. We go somewhere in the car at least three times a week and he goes in, settles and just watches out the window. It is a little tight in my nissan sentra but it does fit. My puppy is 25lbs at 5 months and I do worry he will outgrow this But right now he has space.
Great design!
I put this crate in my Subaru Outback and have used it maybe a dozen times so far. I feel like my doggies are so safe and secure and comfortable when they ride with me. They love being able to look around and get tons of air when we ride. It even makes going to the Vet not so bad! Highly recommend.
Travel Crate
We've only used this travel crate a few times for our 6 month old Wheaten puppy but it's comfortable for him and keeps him secure when riding in our Prius.
Best auto carrier ever!!
Awesome carrier. Safe traveling for puppy. Easy access. Fits perfectly between the seats of a normal sized vehicle. Large enough for a medium sized dog. Our breeder was so impressed, she is ordering it.
