    I ordered 2 of these for my 2 frenchies and this was after searching on several websites and several stores for a car seat that would be appropriate for smaller stature heavier dogs. Typically everything I had found for shorter dogs was for dogs less than 20lbs and anything over the car seat was way I ordered 2 of these for my 2 frenchies and this was after searching on several websites and several stores for a car seat that would be appropriate for smaller stature heavier dogs. Typically everything I had found for shorter dogs was for dogs less than 20lbs and anything over the car seat was way too large! This has worked perfectly!! Both my pups are short and weigh in between 25-40lbs and they fit perfectly. The only thing different I would change is the length of the collar attachment to the car seat, its needs to be about 4 inches longer so the pups are better able to move around of lay down. … more

    Great Idea But Serious Design Flaw

    This is the only safety seat I could find that had seat belt clips and padding for a comfortable doggy ride. I had one where the top bars recently tore through the cloth frame. They use a piece of flexible hose the join two bar frames at the top of the carrier. Why not use a metal or plastic clip. They use a piece of flexible hose the join two bar frames at the top of the carrier. Why not use a metal or plastic clip. The bars eventually push through the soft tubing. Shame because this is an expensive product. I still recommend it because it's so safe for my pet. … more
